Yesterday was heavy.

The cross.
The sorrow.
The grief.

It was real.
It was painful.
It was necessary.

And today…
it is quiet.

The in-between.
The waiting.
The silence.

The disciples didn’t know what was coming next.
All they knew was loss.

Sometimes faith feels like this too.

When prayers seem unanswered.
When hope feels buried.
When God feels silent.

But this is not the end of the story.

What felt final on Friday
was not final.

What felt like defeat
was not defeat.

Hope was not gone.
It was just hidden.

Take a moment today to pray:

Lord,
in the waiting, help me trust You.
In the silence, help me draw near.
When I cannot see what You are doing,
remind me that You are still at work.

Sit in the quiet today.

And remember:

Sunday is coming!

As we approach Palm Sunday 🌿

There was a moment when everything felt clear.

Crowds gathered.
Voices lifted.
Hope felt near.

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
— John 12:13

They welcomed Jesus as King.
With joy.
With expectation.

But they did not yet understand the kind of King He came to be.

A King who would not take power,
but lay it down.

A King who would not conquer by force,
but by love.

A King who would go to the cross.

Palm Sunday invites us to ask:

Will we follow Jesus only in moments of celebration,
or also in the way of surrender?

Take a moment today to pray:

Jesus,
You are my King.
Teach me to follow You,
not only in joy,
but in trust and surrender.

Whatever this weekend holds,
let it be a weekend to draw near.
