These youth and volunteers learned what it means to live a BOLD life for Jesus! They spread the love of God in our community through their work on 17 different worksites, then came together each evening for worship and fellowship.

Thank you to the over 400 volunteers who touched Weekend of the Cross in some way. You made this impactful weekend happen!

Our Club Nine 3 friends have played a huge role in this year’s Weekend of the Cross! ✝️

They helped served dinner each night and provided excellent hospitality. They also potted pepper plants that were given to each homeowner as a gift today.

Scenes from our first work day! ✝️🛠️

Youth and ICU leaders made amazing progress on their home repair projects and spent time getting to know each homeowner.

Our WOC Jr. kids raised over $1,300 through their lemonade stand, using the funds to purchase toys for Ruston Community Christmas’ gift toy drive.

It was a great day of service!

These WOC Jr. kids are ready to serve you lemonade! Join them from 10-11:30 am in front of The Children’s Shoppe!

If you can’t make it, feel free to buy a virtual cup of lemonade through Venmo (-waldroup).

All proceeds will go towards purchasing gifts for Ruston Community Christmas.

BOLD!

It was an amazing night worshipping God and learning about the gifts He has freely given us.

Tomorrow morning our youth and ICU leaders will travel to their worksites, meet their homeowners, and begin their projects.

Daily Prayer Request: Our ICU leaders and other volunteers ✝️

ICU leaders will be with our youth all weekend doing construction work and building relationships. Other volunteers will be working with our WOC Jr. kids, cooking and serving meals, providing their homes for youth to shower, serving as chaperones, and so much more!

Please join us in prayer for these adults!
