Family Dedication Sunday!!

This Sunday, we have a special Dedication day. We will be celebrating families who recently had children during our 11:00 service. We will praise God for the gift of life and honoring the parents who are committing to raising them up in the Way. Additionally, you have an opportunity to commit yourself to the families and their kids as positive spiritual formation influences as the body of Christ! It takes a church to raise a child on the way they should go.

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

Late Night Game Night, Church 56 & Middle School! 🌙 🎲

Join us for a fun night of game show theme games like Jeopardy, Minute to Win It, Carpool Karaoke, and much more! Prizes will be given away. The event is free and dinner and snacks will be provided, free of charge. This is a great event to bring a friend to! See y’all next Saturday😎🙌🏼

Spring Break final day and a half!!

Adventures at the mall, aquarium, and beach provided some fun to close out our week. In our lessons we talked about Moses’ example of faith from Hebrews 11 and what faith in action looks like according to James 2.

We had such a fun time on this trip! God moved in great ways and we saw students make spiritual commitments. Praise the Lord!!🙌🏼

Staying in Hebrews, these were the challenges:

What do my next steps (good works/obedience to Jesus) look like?

Pay attention to God’s Word and its warnings (Hebrews 2:1)
Fix your thoughts on Jesus (Hebrews 3:1)
Encourage each other (Hebrews 3:13)
Enter God’s rest through Jesus (Hebrews 4:11)
Praying (Hebrews 4:14-16)
Take an interest in learning about God’s Word (Hebrews 6:1)
Commit to meeting regularly (Hebrews 10:23-25)

Adventures from the first day and a half!!

So far our Church 56 trip has included a great trip down, two services, some swimming, quiet time at the beach, go-karts, shopping, and mini-golf. We are learning about true faith from Hebrews 11 this week. Today we’ll talk about the stories of Noah and Abraham while also heading to Fun Warehouse, Fuddrucker’s, and WonderWorks.

Pray for God to keep moving in the lives of these kids!

Our Church 56 group will be heading down in about an hour and will return on Friday. We would love if you could pray for and with us as we go!

EASTER SUNDAY!!!✝️

This Easter Sunday, we have kids services at both the 9:30 and 11:00 service times. Their classroom teachers will be proclaiming the resurrection through age-appropriate activities. They will be in their regular classrooms and will check in as usual. Looking forward to seeing y’all on Easter🙌🏼

**This special schedule is just for Easter Sunday. There are no life groups, just two identical services.**

Hitting the streets with hope!!✝️

Today, we passed out the Bibles we wrote in and prayed for Sunday with our preteens. We knocked on over 100 doors, passed out 20 Bibles, and had dozens of great gospel conversations. There is no telling what God will do when we step out in faith! 1 Peter 3:15 commands us to be prepared to give an answer for the hope within us, and we did just that today🙏🏼

Special thanks to Peace of Pie Pizzeria on 534 Main Street for hosting us afterwards. We appreciate your generosity and great food! 🍕🙌🏼

Yesterday, we got to watch the David Movie for our Spring Family Fun Night. Over 40 families joined us for popcorn and the movie!

Calling all families: join our Easter Bible reading plan 📖

This will be through the Bible app—YouVersion. From this Monday through Good Friday, each day will include a video, a Scripture reading, and family activities. You can do it on your own, but if you do it with the group, you’ll get comments and encouragement from leaders and peers. It is called “A Dozen Bible Stories for Kids, Children, and Kiddos”. Scan the QR code to join. Feel free to invite others as well.
