As a minister of the gospel sometimes you have. Step up and call out other pastors, preachers, prophets and teachers, for speaking things that are not true and don't line up with the Holy bible, Gods most Holy Word.
I do not do this often. I am very careful not to speak against other pastors, as I do not want to anger God the father towards me.
So when I do this, I do it carefully, with a heavy heart and because, God has lead me to do so.
After Hearing, Otha Turnbough, head Pastor of Lion Heart Church, speaking on Jesus and what happened to him when he went into hell after he died on the cross, my spirit is heavenly grieved and I must as a minister, address this heresy, this blasphemous lie.
I cannot sit this one out or leave this alone and see him misleading thousands of people by a fabricated lie, from the pit of hell.
I take this very seriously as someone who used to, (but no longer follows Pastor, Otha Turnbough on facebook).
Sunday he preached a message that does not line up with what the Holy Bible tells, us about the death Jesus.
What he teaches here, never once does the bible say ever happened. You will find it no where in scripture!
Pastor Turnbough, states that; "Jesus went into hell alone, without God, without angels of heaven and without the power of heaven, backing him. He (Jesus) then became subject to all the demons in hell, he ( Jesus) was subjected to torment and being tortured by demons in hell. He (Jesus) was literally gang rapped by demons"
Lets first clarify what being gang r***d means here... To be Gang r***d means, he (Jesus) was rapped repeatedly by several different demons for hours and hours.
He ( Pastor Otha Turnbough) goes on to say, in his message that Jesus suffered being eaten by maggots and every torment in hell that there is, Jesus experienced for our sins.
This teaching is Heresy, a blasphemous and fabricated lie, straight from the pit of hell.
What this Pastor says here, does not line up with scripture ( from the Holy Bible) at all.
If you take the time to search the scriptures, for yourself, you will find that no, where does it tell us any of this happened to Jesus. In fact it records the true reason Jesus went to hell and it was not to become subject to satan or any demon.
God would never allow a demon to have authority over his only son. That is heresy!
In ~1 Peter 3: 18-20~we find...
For Jesus also suffered once for sin ( on the cross)
The just for the unjust. That he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh. But made alive by spirit. By also he went and preached to the spirits in prison. Who formerly, were disobedient.
So this scripture tells us, Jesus went to hell in all authority, to preach to the souls trapped in prison, to set them free.
In ~John 19:30~ As Jesus hung on the cross, he looks up Heaven and said...
"It is finished" and gave up his spirit ( some versions say and gave up the ghost).
" it is finished" signifies, that On the cross Jesus completed his assignment. What he was sent here to earth to accomplish, "It was done"!
It was signed sealed, and we were delivered, by his holy blood. There was no need for any further action on Jesus part. He completed what was required. He paid the full price for our sins on the cross.
He did not go to hell to suffer by being tortured and tormented in hell, by any demons.
Pastor, Ortha Turnbrough goes on to pridefully say that other less knowledgable preachers will call him out on this teaching. As if, he alone knows everything there is to learn or teach about the bible. This is Prideful behavior.
I caution you in the name and love of Jesus Christ, brother Ortha Turnbough, be careful
I remind you of ~Proverbs 16:18~ which says...
"Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall".
Brother, cintinuing in the love of Jesus Christ, I plead with you to stop teaching things that are not the truth, but are a lie.
Stop teaching things that are not recorded in God's Holy Word.
I further plead with you to repent for this heresy,
blasphemous lie and for the pride you are carrying. What you preached is written no where in scripture.
Jesus loves you brother, and will forgive you if you will repent and turn around now.
