Meet one of our OG interns — a Computer Science major powered almost entirely by coffee, Skittles C4, McDonald’s runs, and the grace of God. ☕🎮🍟

He’s a sunset-over-sunrise kind of guy, chooses hoodies over crewnecks every time, and strongly believes FaceTime calls should probably only exist in emergencies. If given the option between board games and video games, just know he’s choosing video games “without a doubt”… and maybe a little too passionately according to him.

You’ll probably find him hanging with a group of friends, snacking on pretzels or butter popcorn, listening to O Praise The Name, and talking about how Target is simply superior to Walmart. (His words, not ours.)

What makes him passionate about ministry is connecting with people through the same love and joy Jesus showed others. He’s grown up serving in ministry and loves the energy, passion, and community that come with it. Lately, God has been teaching him that trusting Him is important — but so is putting in the work and stepping faithfully into the plans He has prepared.

We’re excited to have him on the team again this semester… even if he is the problem child.

Here’s a little throw back for you.

Where the Renew house sits now, once sat this house.
Known then as the Christian Student Center or CSC, this building served as the same thing the new building does today.

A place for college students to gather with people who become family, to learn how to become disciples, to find their calling and purpose, and to fall madly in love with God.

Even with a building change and a name change, the purpose still remains the same…
Spread the name of Jesus onto the campus of ATU and into the world.

Where Are They Now?☀️

~MARLEE MANN~

This summer I’m spending a lot of time with my family, being outside, listening to music, doing some Bible journaling and artsy stuff, fishing and swimming, and going wherever the wind takes me!

It’s good to be back home in South Arkansas and just appreciate being here with my family and the place I grew up in.

God has been moving in me by teaching me to be where my feet are and to be patient.
It’s a hard adjustment for me to be away from the ATU Campus and my friends, but I know I’ll be back sooner than I know it. But for now, I can use this time to strengthen my faith, grow in patience, and deepen my relationship with Jesus.

He’s given me a lot of opportunities to grow, lead, and be part of a community that supports me in that, and I’m so grateful for all He’s done and continues to do in my life!

Hey hey hey everybody!!

Do you miss everyone?? Are you going crazy at home?? Well look no further… One week from today at 6:30 we are going to have our first ever summer REFRESH!!!! This is going to be a time for us to reconnect over the summer and catch up while diving into God’s Word together. So invite your friends, incoming freshman, and come excited to see everyone!

Meet Abi Nelle — one of our amazing college interns for the new school year! ☀️🌅

Abi is the kind of person who would choose a sunset over a sunrise, a deep one-on-one conversation over small talk, and a FaceTime call over texting any day. You’ll probably spot her in her Chacos with a 7 Brew energy drink in hand (strawberry, coconut, and cream is the official order 🥤).

She loves Japanese food, worships to Great I Am on repeat, and is passionate about loving people well — no matter who they are. What drew her into college ministry? The amazing environment and the people in it!!

One of the best pieces of advice Abi has ever received is: “Love the Lord first and everything else will fall in line.”

Lately, God has been teaching her to lean on Him before anyone else — trusting that He will always provide the right people along the way.

We’re so excited for you to get to know Abi this year! 🤍
