Thank you, ladies for coming together Friday to volunteer your time to sort, organize, and restock the Hope Closet. From unloading and sizing to folding and preparing everything for families it takes a village. I’m so thankful for each of you (and those we missed). It’s always such an honor working alongside each of you, and we always have the best time together getting it all done.

Thank you to Liz Findley and my husband Terry Freeman (not pictured) for helping set up the day before and Liz for jumping right back in to help again on Friday.

Thank you to our community for your generous donations. Because of you, we’re able to meet real needs in a tangible way.

We’re ready for families and their spring and summer clothing needs. If you or someone you know could use assistance, please send a message to the Hope Closet page.

The back of Terry’s truck is a beautiful reminder of generosity from our community. We are so blessed to live in a community that shows up, gives freely, and cares for one another.

It’s filled with clothes, shoes, and backpacks, all donated to the Lake Hills Hope Closet through the kindness of Rhea Lana’s of Russellville and their generous consignors who donate their unsold items.

A special thank you to my husband, Terry Freeman, and our wonderful Hope Closet volunteers and friends, Diana Roesler, Holly Alford, and Lyn Farmer for your help.

Thank you also to Crystal Willbanks for coordinating and lining everything up. We appreciate you.

Serving alongside volunteers who are friends and feel like family is a blessing. It’s love in action, and we always have a fun time serving together.

We’ve received sizes ranging from infant to pr***en. If you or someone you know could use clothing assistance, please message us on the Lake Hills Hope Closet page.

From all of us at The Lake Hills Hope Closet, we invite our community—our clothing recipients, donors, and friends—to join us at Lake Hills Church as we celebrate the risen Savior.

No matter where you are in life or what season you’re in, there is a place for you here and you are always welcome.

Blessed with the very best group of women — volunteers, friends, and my church family and the many who could not be there today. This is for you!

You show up with willing hands and open hearts. You serve, you organize, you laugh, you pray, you love and you do it all behind the scenes. A big shout out to my sister, Liz and my husband, Terry, for helping set up and prep the day before. You’re always right there, rolling up your sleeves to help.

Together, you are the heart, hands and feet behind every rack filled and every family helped. You bring compassion and fun into the room before the work even begins and turn an ordinary volunteer day into a compassionate, meaningful, genuinely fun day of serving.

Serving alongside each of you is one of life’s sweetest blessings.

“Serve one another humbly in love.” Galatians 5:13

As we step into 2026, Terry and I are thankful for Lake Hills Church, our church family and community where faith is lived out through love, service, and care for others.

To those who donate clothing — thank you for your generosity. Your donations do more than meet a need; they speak hope, dignity, and care into someone’s life.

To those who receive clothing — you are always welcome here. It is an honor to serve you, and we are grateful to walk alongside you with compassion and respect.

To our Hope Closet volunteers — thank you for serving faithfully. Your time, prayers, and willing hands are a reflection of Christ’s love in action.

The Hope Closet is possible because of a church and a community that believes in serving others well. As we look forward to the new year, we are filled with gratitude for what God has done and hope for what He will continue to do - together.

Here's to 2026 – serving our community and demonstrating love through action.

The Lake Hills Hope Closet will be closed November 21-30.

As we enter Thanksgiving week, we want to say how grateful we are for every clothing recipient we serve, every clothing donor who gives so generously, and every volunteer who pours their heart into this ministry.

Your generosity and kindness create a place where people feel seen, valued, and cared for. We are truly thankful for each one of you.

We hope everyone enjoys this Thanksgiving season with family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Lake Hills Hope Closet.

What an outpouring of love from our Lake Hills Church family throughout October’s “SOCK-tober” month!

As we wrapped up the final Sunday of SOCK-tober and displayed all the donated socks for a visual photo op, it was powerful — a picture of generosity, compassion, and the heart of our Lake Hills Church family.

It was a wonderful reminder of how God uses willing hearts to meet real needs. Each pair representing an act of kindness — warming little feet and reminding families that they are seen, loved, and cared about.

Thank you, Lake Hills Church, for your heart to serve others.

What a blessing to spend Thursday morning with this incredible group of women — dedicated, compassionate, and fun-loving.

Each time we serve, I’m reminded of how beautifully God weaves our gifts together. He uses every willing heart and helping hand to meet needs and show His love in tangible ways.

If you or someone you know needs clothing assistance, please visit our Lake Hills Hope Closet page and send us a message — we’d love to help.

Thank you so much, Jordan for our banner. We absolutely love it! You did a great job.

The back of this truck tells a story of generosity and community love. It is filled to the brim with coats, clothes, shoes, and backpacks all donated to the Lake Hills Hope Closet through the kindness of Rhea Lana’s of Russellville, and their generous consignors.

A special thank you to Liz Findley and my husband, Terry, for your help today at Rhea Lana’s — your time and helping hands made a big difference!

These donations of gently used clothing help us serve children and families throughout our community and surrounding areas.

We’ve received sizes ranging from infant to pr***en, allowing us to meet a variety of needs. If you or someone you know could use clothing assistance, please don’t hesitate to message us on our Lake Hills Hope Closet page.

Together, we are sewing seeds of kindness and hope.
