Today marks five years since The Hope Closet began, and our hearts are filled with gratitude as we look back on all that God has done through this ministry.
To our home church, Lake Hills Church, thank you for believing in the vision of The Hope Closet from the very beginning. To every volunteer who gave your time, every donor who gave so generously, every organization that partnered with us, and every individual who joined us in serving our community—thank you. Your kindness made it possible to reach hundreds of families throughout our community and beyond. Every bag of clothing, every pair of shoes, every coat, every hug, every prayer, and every act of compassion reminded someone they were seen, valued, and cared for.
To our clothing recipients, thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you. It has been an honor to walk alongside you during seasons of need.
These past five years have been about so much more than clothing. They have been about people. They have been about hope, compassion, dignity, and a community coming together to care for one another. I have witnessed incredible generosity and seen firsthand what happens when people choose to love and serve others.
As we celebrate this five-year milestone, I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for every person who gave, volunteered, prayed, encouraged, and believed in this ministry. Because of you, hundreds of families were blessed, and countless lives—including my own—have been touched.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Today we celebrate not just five years of a ministry, but five years of lives touched, hope shared, and a community that came together to love people well. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey and for helping make The Hope Closet a place where compassion was put into action.
