I want to ask, no plead with, everyone to take a few minute TODAY and watch this short YouTube video and share it with as many as you can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9edbwtYr3uA PLEASE! Don't be like Pilate in Mathew 27. He didn't want to get involved in the politics of his day so he didn't vote. And because of that - Jesus was crucified. The old adage is true, 'the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.' A better rendering of that for today might be ' The only thing necessary for evil to win the election is for Christians to not vote.'
Please read your Bible, pray, vote and encourage others to vote. Not so much for a certain candidate, or a party. But vote for Biblical principles and Godly standards. Vote to minimize evil and maximize righteousness. Thank You. May the Lord continue to bless you and yours and may GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Here’s how and why Christians should vote in 2024. In this video, I discuss the differences between each party and whether or not Christians should vote when...

THIS POINTS OUT THE STRATEGIC DIFFERENCE.
At a recent Harris-Walz Wisconsin rally, Harris bragged about her devotion to abortion. Suddenly, two college students shouted, “Christ is King!” Harris laughed and said, “You’re at the wrong rally.” The crowd roared in approval of her insult of Christians.

At a Trump-Vance Wisconsin rally days later, someone yelled, “Jesus is King!” In contrast to Harris, Senator J.D. Vance replied, “That’s right. Jesus is King.”

Religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and freedom of speech are at stake. Christians must vote.

The students who yelled their praise for Jesus may have provided the inspiration that could save America from neo-Marxist secularism.

VOTE FOR BIBLICAL VALUES! PLEASE. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Chaplain's MINUTE MESSAGE 10-20-24
Hey, this is your Chaplain again. Let me remind you that October is Clergy Appreciation Month. Now I’m just a Chaplain, but for many years I had the great honor of being a Pastor, so I can tell you that your pastor desires and deserves your appreciation.
More importantly - the Bible tells you to honor that special person. 1 Thes. 5:12-13 says it pretty clearly, “And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love!” Did you hear that, ‘Overwhelm them with appreciation and love!’ It didn’t say anything about pointing out his weakness or reminding him about his mistakes.
I heard someone say, ‘If you want a better preacher – pray for the one you have.’ I like that. When was the last time that you prayed for yours? When was the last time you called your pastor, without needing anything, just to tell them ‘Thank you’? 1 Tim. 5:17 says, “The elders who are good leaders are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.” Your pastor may not be perfect, but then - neither are you.
God’s Word tells you to honor the pastor that God has put in your life? If you would like some help doing that, I have some great resources to suggest. You can go online to: www.parsonage.org/cam/index.cfm The pastor that ministers to you deserves your love and support, not just during October, but continuously. The Pastor that helps you in your walk of faith ought to be honored. Why not call him this week, maybe send him a card or - take him out for lunch. After all, he feeds you every week.
If you’d like to talk about spiritual things, you can always call or text the Chaplain at: 479-264-6146 or email: [email protected] . I’d love to talk and pray with you anytime. May the Lord bless you and always draw you closer to Himself and use you for His glory is my prayer.

Clergy Appreciation Month

09/11/2024

Last night, September 10, 2001

246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their next shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift of saving lives and 1 K9 went to bed a good boy 🐾🐾

None of them saw past 10:00 am the next morning Sept 11, 2001. In the blink of an eye, their lives were cut short.

Tonight, as you prepare for bed in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.
AND be absolutely sure that things are right between you and the Lord Jesus. If you want to talk about that call or text me, 479-264-6146. May the Lord continue to bless you and draw you always closer to Him self is my prayer.

CHAPLAIN'S MINUTE MESSAGE 8-11-24
Hey, this is your Chaplain again. I was called out to a situation up on one of our area mountains. When I had completed my ministry there, I decided to take what I thought would be a short cut, down the other side of the mountain. I wasn’t very familiar with the roads in that area, but I was sure that I could find my way home because I thought I was going in the right direction. After driving for about 30 minutes, I concluded that I really didn’t know where I was. So, it was time to turn on my GPS and let it lead me to where I needed to be. I thought I knew where I was going… I thought I knew the way… But…!
There may be someone reading this today who is like that - in a spiritual sense. You have a vague notion of where you want to go - heaven, some day - but you’re not really sure where you are, or even if you’re on the right road. I like the way the Message translation renders what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14, “Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention.” We can find the same thought back in the Old Testament; Proverbs 14:12-13 says, “There's a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell. Sure, those people appear to be having a good time, but all that laughter will end in heartbreak.” (Msg.) I needed a GPS to find my way over the mountain; and we all need Jesus to find our way to heaven. In John 14:6 He said, “I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me.”
There really is no substitute for Jesus! If you’d like to talk about spiritual things, but don’t have a pastor that you’re comfortable talking with, you can always call or text the Chaplain at: 479-264-6146 or email: [email protected] . I’d love to talk and pray with you anytime. May the Lord bless you and always draw you closer to Himself and use you for His glory is my prayer.

Chaplain's Minute Message 8-4-24
Hey, this is your Chaplain again. I think some Christians have a fundamental flaw in the way that they try to do what the Lord has told us to do. Basically, His last command was “Go and tell.” (Mat. 28:19) Or, to put that another way, ‘Take the Gospel to the people.’ But we have turned that around. And it seems to me that we are now trying to – ‘take the people to the gospel’. Did you hear the difference in those two statements? Let me say it again. We should be ‘taking the gospel to people’. Instead of trying to ‘take the people to the gospel’. And there is a huge difference in those two things. And really, only one of them is Biblically correct. I know this thought might initially sound strange - so let me explain. Many times, we limit our witnessing for the Lord to just inviting people to church. Now there is nothing wrong with inviting people to church and if you are doing that, keep doing it. But I do have a question for you. What if they don’t come? What do you do? Inviting people to church is trying to bring them to the gospel, again nothing wrong with inviting. However, the command is NOT to bring people to the gospel, but to take the gospel to people. Look at this wonderful passage from Romans 10:14. “How can they put their trust in Jesus if they have not heard of Him? And how can they hear of Him unless someone tells them?” The emphasis here is that people cannot respond to a Gospel that they have not heard. Let’s make sure we are using our feet to carry and our voices to tell the Good News to people. There are many people who will never step foot in a church, and you probably know some of them. That’s why we need to take the gospel to them.

The CHAPLAIN"S MINUTE MESSAGE for 7-7-24
Hey, this is your Chaplain again. Earlier this week, it was my privilege and honor to do the funeral service for Chris Davenport of Dardanelle. Chris was a very special person. He exemplified the childlike faith and love that many of us are too busy and too sophisticated to know much about. One of the scriptures that I read for the service was from Matthew 19. “Jesus said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them for the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.” (NLT) We sure can complicate a simple thing. And yet simple things can also be the most profound. There's nothing much simpler than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In its essence the Gospel is the epitome of simplicity. Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, died on the cross and then rose from the dead. And His sacrificial death paid the penalty for our sins. But at the same time, it is the most profound truth in the universe. So, we will never fully comprehend it - this side of eternity. We accept this by faith and apply it to our lives personally. We invite Him to be our Savior and Lord. What all does that involve? We won't know the full answer to that until we meet Him face to face. And it's the Gospel that makes that possible.
