We are painting rocks to hide around Russell County to bring happiness to peoples' day. Acrylic paint is what paint you need to purchase. If you paint a rock to hide, on the back of the rock write "Post pic to Mt Pleasant Rocks page. Spray rock with a clear sealant, such as Rustoleum, to protect your artwork. Finders, if you wish, you can keep or rehide the rock. If a rock you find just s
eems like it was meant just for you, you are welcome to keep and enjoy forever! Please, please post your find to Mt Pleasant Rocks, however, so others can share in the joy of your find. Use common sense when hiding rocks. Do not hide in dangerous situations, such as in the water. Be aware that in warmer months, mowers can throw rocks, so don't hide in the grass. Complaining about rocks not being posted is not allowed, posts that are rude/negative will be removed. Foul language is not tolerated, and such posts/comments will also be removed. Do NOT hide inside stores without asking owners/managers permission FIRST!! There are plenty of OUTDOOR places to hide our rocks!! Any posts totally unrelated to the group will be deleted. Advertising for the sole purpose of advertising is NOT allowed. Your post will be removed and you may be blocked from the group. Cannot be held responsible for people being offended, etc. So, get busy painting, hiding, and/or finding these beauties!
