October is Pastor Appreciation Month, a special opportunity for our church family to express our gratitude for the pastors God has called to serve, lead, encourage, and care for His people.

Pastor John Hutchinson has served as an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God for 20 years and has more than 25 years of ministry experience. In August 2019, God led Pastor John to Destiny Church, where he continues to serve with a heart for “Reaching the ONE” for Jesus and helping people grow in their relationship with Christ and draw closer to the Holy Spirit.

Pastor John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from the University of Valley Forge and his Master’s degree in Christian Ministries from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He has also pursued Ph.D. studies in Organizational Learning and Leadership at Gannon University.

As we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month, we are thankful for Pastor John’s seven years of faithful leadership at Destiny Church and for his continued commitment to preaching God’s Word, reaching people for Jesus, and following the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We invite our Destiny Church family to take a moment this month to pray for Pastor John and Becky, encourage them, and let them know how much their ministry and leadership are appreciated.
