Yay Team Jesus! FUMC-Rusk wore green to support our neighbors in Canton today. Our hearts are with you in the wake of last weeks tragedies. Side note: Our two churches collected close to 2,000 canned goods and grocery items for local food banks! Praise God! Love y’all Canton!

Tomorrow wear green and white! We are showing our support for our neighbors in Canton after they had a rough week with a deadly shooting and a deadly house fire.

Parsonage landscaping is looking good! Check out the Sycamore tree. Mrs. Betty Townsend donated it. Nothing says there is hope for the future like planting a tree.

UPDATE!! Help us collect canned goods! We now have boxes at Austin bank rusk, TNB Rusk, Citizens 1st and the Cherokee County Teachers Federal Union. Drop your cans off at any of those locations or in the church lobby Sunday morning! We can do this!
Beginning October 1st - we will compete to see which congregation can collect the most canned goods. Those collected by Rusk FUMC will go to our own Good Samaritan. Those collected by Canton FUMC will go to the Canton Food Bank. Losing pastor has to wear the other team's T-shirt to worship last Sunday of the month. GO TEAM RUSK FUMC!
