Penny Lanning hosted a wonderful meal at her home for our missionaries, myself, and Pastor Doug with his amazing wife Karey.

We had an amazing service this evening with Reverend Stanley and Grace Ushe. This beautiful couple are missionaries from East Africa. They shared with us their experiences, how they met and the joy it is to be the hands and feet of Jesus. They serve 5 countries and 18 districts in their territory. Such an amazing testimony. Our church members are discussing a missionary trip to East Africa in two years.  What an amazing experience this will be.

Giving Blackery a detail today. I will be picking up some very special people Sunday to bring to our missionary service Sunday evening at six. No they’re not a special as Jesus, but he will be there also so come join us and open that door to your heart and let him in. It’s going to be an amazing inspiring and spiritual evening. Please join us. Oh and my grandson who was five years old at the time named my car Blackery. 😂😂😂😂

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Help Fayette County Residents on the Indiana 211 Recovery List
Fayette County Emergency Management is looking for dedicated volunteers to help contact local residents currently on the Indiana 211 Intake List.

Volunteers will make follow-up phone calls to confirm resident status, share vital recovery resources, and provide reassurance and support. Training and a simple script are provided.

Volunteer Details & Requirements:
Role: Making friendly, professional calls, navigating recovery information, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Commitment: 4 to 6-hour in-person shifts.
Skills Needed: Basic phone/computer comfort, strong communication, and empathy.

Our communities have been hit hard by flooding, and United Cajun Navy is asking for help with the heavy work ahead.

They are looking for heavy equipment AND skilled operators to help remove flood debris and begin clearing the way for families and communities to recover.

Loaders / bucket tractors
Other heavy equipment

They’re also seeking fuel sponsors, mechanic support and general volunteers.
