Ms. Julie is a true gift to us here at VF and to everyone who has the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Today, her husband, Billy Jack, an elder at VF, shares what it has been like to walk beside Julie through the years and the blessing it is to be loved by such a godly woman.
We are thankful for the way Julie loves Jesus, loves people, and faithfully points others to Christ in every season of life. ā¤ļø
āJules has always been special to me from the first time I saw her. She is exactly what Paytn referred to in 1 Peter 3. Jules has always been my helpmate, and I canāt thank God enough for giving me what I prayed for as a teenager and for knowing exactly what kind of wife I wanted.
I could go on all day about how great she is, but the best example of her character is reflected in our children. From the time they were born, she has spent her days reading them Bible stories and repeating things to them over and over before they could even read, so that Godās Word would be etched into their hearts.
She has taught each of our children the books of the Bible at a very early age. Parker is a reminder of just how great Jules is at teaching. At only three years old, he can recite the New Testament and is now working on the Old Testament.
I believe we are all blessed to have a Jules in our livesāsomeone who speaks truth with kindness and will always point people to Christ, no matter what she is doing.ā
