Join us Sunday at Rural Retreat United Methodist Church as we Conclude our Series called The Scandal of Grace. During this Series, we've looked at the Book of Galatians to see what it teaches us about God's Grace and why we struggle with it. This Sunday, we will look at why we become weary in doing good. Join us and invite someone to come with you to experience what God is doing!

Maybe you’ve been thinking about trying church, have questions about church or faith, or are looking for a church. If this is you, we want to personally invite you to come and see what God is doing here. It’s ok to have questions; you don’t have to have everything figured out. Just come, and we will grow and learn together. There is no dress code; just wear what makes you comfortable. We can’t wait to meet you!

Contemporary Worship at 9 AM, Sunday School for ALL ages at 10 AM, and Traditional Worship at 11 AM. Everyone is welcome and wanted! If you’re unable to be with us in person, we have 3 Ways you can watch the 11 AM service online:

Please join us in Congratulating our Student Ministry Directors, Jonathan and Michaela Poole on achieving some significant milestones! Jonathan passed his Class B Contractor's Licensing Exam, and Michaela passed her Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam! We are so proud of them for these achievements! We are also so blessed and thankful for the leadership and love they provide for our Student Ministries and our Church! Thank you Michaela and Jonathan for all you do!

Founding pastor of Emerald Youth Foundation and longtime Knoxville minister, Robert “Bob” Bean, passed away today, Thursday, Aug. 27. While we grieve the loss of such a faithful man and Christ-follower, we know he is rejoicing with his Savior face to face. Thank you, Rev. Bean, for your commitment to the Gospel and sharing it with countless children and adults. Your impact on our city and beyond is immeasurable.

Join us Sunday for our Annual Service at the Rural Retreat Lake. The Service will begin at 10:30 AM at Shelter #3. Immediately following the Service, we will share some amazing Fellowship and a Potluck Meal together. Bring a Camping Chair and a Dish to Share and Join Us! Everyone is welcome!
