TRUST GOD AND LET HIM DO THINGS HIS OWN WAY:
“Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed. But Naaman went away angry and said, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.” 2 Kings 5: 10-11.
So often we miss out on what God wants to do for us because He doesn’t do it the way we think He should. That’s what Naaman did. He went to Elisha expecting to be healed in a particular way. When it didn’t happen that way, the Bible says, he went away in a rage. What Elisha told him to do was simple. Dip seven times in the Jordan. Naaman could do that. But it didn’t fit his idea of how his healing should take place. He thought Elisha would heal him by waving his hands around and calling on the Name of the Lord. Naaman stormed away and he would have missed out on his healing if one of his servants hadn’t talked him into giving Elisha’s instructions a try. I used to be like that. I wanted spectacular experiences from God so badly I was missing out on the experiences God had planned for me. Once I realized that, I quit looking for feelings and spectacular manifestations and just started expecting God to keep His Word.
Don’t let your own ideas of how God’s going to work rob you of your healing or your deliverance or your prosperity. Just trust Him and let Him do things His way. He will work mightily in you. Remain blessed.

CARING FOR YOUR PHYSICAL BODY IS NOT VANITY:
“But the Lord said to Samuel, do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16: 7.
We humans judge each other by our exteriors, while asserting that God looks at our hearts. God’s law in Leviticus chapter 13 and 14 may surprise us, though. These chapters concern God’s explicit cleanliness guidelines for His people. These health standards stood right alongside God’s spiritual laws.
The Israelites understood God’s desire for a balance between physical and spiritual health. Caring for your physical body is not vanity, nor is it a waste of time. Maintaining your physical health allows your spiritual life to flourish. Remain blessed.

HE LIVES IN ME:
“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1: 4-5.
Imagine for a moment that you’re in a large auditorium that has no windows or doors to let in the outside light. The place is so black you can’t even see anything, not even your hand in front of your face. There’s nothing around you but complete darkness!
Now, imagine one little lightning bug flying around that auditorium. Every eye in there would turn toward it. As small as that little light is in comparison to the great darkness around it, you would still be able to see it. That massive blackness wouldn’t be able to do a thing to shut off that bug. Everywhere it flies, the darkness would just have to yield. It would always be dispelled by its light.
Whenever things around you get dark and you feel the devil is about to overpower you, remember this: You have Jesus, the Light of the world in you, and try as they may, all the forces of hell can’t put it out! Even when you’re at your weakest, even when you feel like the Light within you is small, the devil’s darkness is no match for you. Remain blessed.

A CONTINUOUS LIFE OF FAITH:
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” Joshua 1: 7.
Living a life of faith takes courage. Most people don’t realize it, but it does! It takes courage to stand up in the face of sickness and declare you’re healed by the stripes of Jesus. There are going to be some days when you’d rather pull the covers over your head and hide than take another stand against the devil. But you can’t. Because the battle of faith isn’t fought once and then forgotten. If you want to keep living in victory, you have to fight it again and again.
If you’re going to fight the good fight of faith to the finish, you’ll have to do just like Joshua did. You’ll have to continually draw courage from the Word of God. So, make up your mind to do it. Get into that Word and let it change you from coward to an overcomer. Then march into battle and slay the giants in your land. Remain blessed.

LAY DOWN YOUR LIFE FOR SOMEONE:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15: 13.
We often think of “laying down your life” for someone else in terms of dying. That’s what Jesus did. He loved us so much that He laid down His life by dying in our place so that we could live. But now, He has asked us to lay down our lives in a different way. He has asked us to show our love, not by dying for others, but by living for them. It means giving our lives by spending part of our time to meet the needs of someone telling them of their need for salvation, providing physical needs for someone, visiting someone, and even praying for someone. It means giving of ourselves with love and understanding. Many times it means laying down our own selfish desires in other to meet the needs of another.
When you lay down your life, you live to please God instead of yourself. You let your life be guided by His love. If love leads you to the person next door, you follow. When love calls you to intercede for someone in need, you yield.
Commit yourself today to lay down your own life – and take up the love life. Remain blessed.

GOD IS NO LOSER:
“But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!” Romans 5: 15.
If you are on a losing streak and you need someone to tell you how to turn things around, go to God. He has suffered more losses than anyone who’s ever lived. He lost Lucifer, His top-ranked, most anointed angel. And when Lucifer fell, He lost a third of His other angels as well. Then He lost the man and woman He created. And because he had given them dominion over the earth, when He lost them, He lost it too. Yet, in spite of all that, God is no loser. He’s the greatest winner of all time. He knows how to turn losses around. God had every option that exists to choose from to redeem the things He’d lost. He had all the wisdom and all the power available to Him. Out of all that, He gave the most irreplaceable thing He had: His only Son (Jesus Christ) to die for our sins. Then He backed the gift with His own faith, and the Almighty God received not only His begotten Son, but millions of other sons as well (I am one of them).
Don’t despair over losses. Study the Word of God and ask God to teach you how to redeem your losses. Remain blessed.
