THE BLOOD OF JESUS SETS US FREE FROM SIN:
“And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.” Revelation 1: 5.
Jesus Christ is our Lord. He is our Savior. He is our redeemer and deliverer. His blood has done so much for us and it is the reason for our living today. His blood saved us from the wrath of God inspired by the consequences of our sins. Through His blood, we have received the forgiveness of our sins; through His blood, God became merciful to our unrighteousness and He is no longer remembering our past. Now, we are justified by the blood of Jesus Christ; for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ delivers us from every accusation that the devil makes against us. Hallelujah! Remain blessed.

GOD IS STRATEGIC:
“Now they told David, behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah and are robbing the threshing floors. Therefore David inquired of the Lord, shall I go and attack these Philistines? And the Lord said to David, go and attack the Philistines and save Keilah.” 1 Samuel 23: 1-2.
When David, a seasoned warrior, heard about the Philistines fighting against Keilah, he was deeply distressed. But he didn’t rush into battle. Instead, he went to God for the right tactics and timing. God is strategic and gave David the go-ahead (twice) to fight his rivals and rescue the people (v 3-5).
You may be tempted to rush headlong into battle when you feel moved by an injustice at home, work or school. Why not follow David’s example and ask the Lord when and how you should enter the fray? His timing is perfect. Remain blessed.

DEAD TO SIN, ALIVE IN CHRIST:
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6: 4.
As a believer, you actually have residing in you the same new life God gave Jesus when He raised Him from the dead. The old sinner you once were has died. You’ve become a new creation on the inside. You are full of the resurrection life of God!
But sin, disobedience and living a selfish, carnal life will keep that resurrection life from flowing out. Sin will separate you from the power of God, even though you’re born again. Resurrection life will lay dormant in you if you walk in sin.
You can overcome sin by walking after the new life God has put in you, by spending time in the Word and in prayer. As you do that, the Spirit of God will strengthen you and enable you to put that sin under your feet. Remain blessed.

THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE:
“A man’s pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor.” Proverbs 29: 23.
Pride or haughtiness can be manifested in many ways – superiority complex, vanity, egotism, gossip, self-righteousness, and bragging. This spirit will open doors to other spirits and will hinder you from experiencing the blessings of God because the Lord hates pride. This spirit will also open you to self-deception and self-delusion. How can you tell whether you are under the influence of this spirit? When you find yourself arrogant or contentious. When you feel you are better than others or have a bossy or domineering attitude. When you find yourself struggling to accept others except on your own terms.
The solution to this kind of spirit is, after a prayer of deliverance, daily ask the Holy Spirit to produce in you the 9 fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23) and willingly obey Him. This will help you to humble yourself. Remain blessed.

ARE YOU STILL ON FIRE FOR GOD?
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” James 4: 8.
Remember when you first got saved and were so excited about the things of God? Remember when you could hardly wait to read the next chapter of the Bible? There was only one word to describe you – hot! Your reborn spirit was on fire for God. But slowly that has changed. You have become lukewarm. You have let the fire die down. You still read the Bible, but you have lost your enthusiasm.
If you want to get the fire back, God’s Word says that you should draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. To do that, you have to drop the things that are stealing your time from studying the Word. Delight yourself in His Word. If you give your attention to the things of God, soon your desire will increase. Your soul’s desire will follow whatever you spend your time doing. Start building yourself up by praying in the spirit. Believe and act on everything God says to you. Before long, your spirit will grow again into an all-consuming fire! Remain blessed.

PUT FLESH-AND-BLOOD BATTLES BEHIND:
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.” 2 Corinthians 10: 3.
Satan and demons are your life-long enemies! They are behind every personal affront you encounter. The people who hurt you and persecute you are only Satan’s work tools. When he wants to strike out at you, he uses them to get the job done. Persecution is not often the manifestation of another person’s hate for you. It is a manifestation of Satan’s fear of you. When you get into the Word of God and start swinging it around – using it like the sword of the Spirit it is – he gets scared. So he looks for some person he can send in there to stop you.
Next time someone hurts you, don’t let yourself get sidetracked into fighting them. Bind the spirit behind them. Put flesh-and-blood battles behind and war with the weapons of the Spirit. Zero in on Satan with authority and the Word of God and bring your real enemy down! Remain blessed.

YOU ARE THE VICTORY OF ALMIGHTY GOD:
“And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.” Romans 8: 17.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the term joint heir refers to “a personal equality based on an equality of possession.”
Jesus went to the cross to give you what He already possessed. He rose again so that you will be re-created in His image. You are the victory of Almighty God! You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Once you begin to accept that fact, your life will forever be changed. You will want to step up to the position of authority that Jesus has given you, to take your rightful place beside Him and learn to operate the way He does. Remain blessed.

It was never the point for God’s free forgiveness in Jesus to be a secret, known only to a select few. It was never the point that only the disciples, or only the Jewish people, or only those living in the years that Jesus did His work would know the salvation God provides.
