What do you do when a text meant for someone else lands on your phone?

In 2016, a new father named Denis Williams sent out a message announcing the birth of his son, Cason.

One of the numbers belonged to a stranger named Dennis Comeau.

He could have ignored it.

Instead, he replied with congratulations and asked which hospital room they were in.

The new parents thought he was joking.

He wasn't.

Dennis and his brother, Deorick, drove to the hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia, carrying diapers, baby bottles, and wipes for a baby they had never met.

The family shared photos of the visit, and the story spread around the world.

Years later, they still keep in touch.

The two brothers became known as Cason's accidental uncles.

A wrong number usually ends with an apology.

This one turned into a friendship that outlasted the viral moment.
