There’s a big contrast between God‘s beautiful creation and the great spiritual needs that exist in this country. As we traveled around the rural areas of Tokyo, Mount Fuji stood tall in the distance as a reminder of just how powerful God is.

While millions come here to admire the beautiful nature of this country. My prayer is that many Japanese and tourists will come to know the one who created all these things.

Please continue to pray for the people of Japan, the churches, and the missionaries who faithfully serve here. Also continue to pray for more opportunities to keep sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

One of my favorite memories from Japan so far was serving at a church’s kids club after the Sunday service! It was such a joy to laugh, play games, and spend time with these amazing kids while sharing the love of Jesus with them💚

I’m thankful for the opportunity God gave our team to serve in Japan through SEND! Please continue praying for us that we’ll keep reaching the youth here for Christ!

This week our team has been attending the SEND Conference. This is where missionaries and ministry leaders have gathered to worship and learn from God’s Word, while also encouraging one another as we continue to serve throughout this challenging country!

It’s been a blessing to hear how God is working through different ministries across Japan, and to be reminded that we are all part of the same mission: to make Christ known✝️

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me on this trip! Your prayers and support are what makes opportunities to reach other parts of the world for Christ possible.

Matthew 9:37-38:

“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.’”

One of my favorite memories from my time so far here, was meeting these students at Hi-B.A. Camp and having the opportunity to build friendships and share the love of Jesus Christ with them.

Although I wish I could speak Japanese better, their kindness and excitement made every conversation really enjoyable! I’m very thankful for the friendships we made while having this opportunity to talk with them.

Continue to keep our group in prayer as we continue to travel and see God’s hand throughout Japan🙏

One of my favorite parts of serving at JBC Camp was beginning each morning with our maintenance team in God's Word and prayer before we cleaned the campus.

It reminds me of John 15:5 where it says, "I am the vine, you are the branches... apart from Me you can do nothing."

Looking back, I'm thankful for those quiet moments that reminded us that our service wasn't just about the work. It was about staying connected to the word and reaching the kids at this camp for Christ. Time in Scripture and prayer prepared our hearts to serve Him and others throughout the days we were here.

Thank you to everyone who has been continuing to pray for me during this Journey in Japan! I plan to post more content soon🙏

A quiet night of devotional time before camp begins tomorrow.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve with JBC Bible camp in Japan! I’m praying that God prepares us, as we get ready to welcome the campers and share His love throughout the weekend🙏

One thing I’m learning in Japan is that God is at work everywhere...

A few nights ago we joined a Hi-b.a. youth meeting where we worshipped, listened to a message, and spent time connecting with high school students. Even though we come from different backgrounds and speak different languages, it’s amazing how quickly Christ brings people together🙏

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for this trip! Seeing God move in the lives of young people here has been a tremendous encouragement to me and the rest of my group.

Please continue to pray that these students will grow in their faith and that many more would come to know Jesus💚

After a rain shower passed through the mountains, a rainbow appeared over the valley in the Japan mountain area.

Moments like this should remind us that all of God’s creation will direct back to Him. In a world filled with chaos, drama, and politics, sometimes all it takes is a quiet moment in nature to remember who really is in control.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve in Japan and for the reminders of God’s goodness along the way.
