Devastating floods in Nepal have claimed hundreds of lives, left many missing, and displaced families across affected communities. Global Ministries is in communication with our partner in Nepal and preparing to respond to urgent needs as aid can safely reach those affected.

Our partner shared, “At this critical moment, we would greatly appreciate your prayers for Nepal.”

The Roxbury Congregational Church invites children from throughout the community to join its monthly Church School, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month beginning September 20, 2026.
The Church School is open to all children from preschool through Grade 5, regardless of church affiliation. Each monthly gathering offers children an opportunity to learn, explore, create, and build friendships in a welcoming and nurturing setting.
“Our Church School is a place where children can discover that faith is not just something we talk about on Sunday morning—it is something we live,” said the Rev. David Peters, Minister of Roxbury Congregational Church. “We want children in our community to know that they are loved, that they matter, and that God calls all of us to care for our neighbors, ourselves, and the world around us.”
Each approximately 30-minute session includes Bible stories, age-appropriate lessons, crafts, and hands-on activities centered on the themes of God’s love of neighbor, love of self, and care for creation. Lessons are designed to be engaging for younger children while offering meaningful opportunities for elementary-age children to grow in faith and understanding.
The monthly schedule also follows the seasons and stories of the Christian year, giving children an opportunity to experience Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, and other important moments in the life of the church.
There is no cost to attend, and all children are welcome. Parents and caregivers are invited to learn more about the Church School and to join the congregation for worship.
