Please click “Prayer Request” on our website and let us know how we can pray for you. If you have never received Christ as your Savior or you are not sure you have ever done that, I would like you to consider receiving Him into your life right now. Becoming a Christian is as simple as talking to God, asking Him to forgive your sins, and sincerely believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead. Trust His Word that when you do that, He will forgive you and make you His child. I would love to know if you have made that decision. We feel that it’s OUR responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. When you visit Timothy Baptist Church, we want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere. Take your time and follow the links to get acquainted with our church and feel free to click the " ?" to submit a question or share your thoughts. We'd love to hear from you! Sermon Series: Who Tricked You!?
Have you ever believed something that sounded right, but wasn't true? Sometimes the greatest deception isn't an obvious lie. It's believing something that subtly pulls us away from what God has already said.
The churches in Galatia faced this very challenge. After embracing the good news of Jesus, teachers known as Judaizers convinced many believers that faith in Christ wasn't enough. They insisted that people also had to follow Jewish laws, customs, and traditions to truly belong to God.
The Apostle Paul responds with a startling question: "Who tricked you?" He reminds the Galatians that the faith they began with is the same faith they are to continue and finish with. From beginning to end, our relationship with God has always been by grace through faith in Jesus Christ- not by human effort, religious performance, or trying to earn God's approval.
Throughout this series, we'll uncover the subtle ways we can still be deceived today. We'll examine whether we've allowed success, religion, performance, traditions, or the opinions of others to replace simple trust in Jesus. Together, we'll rediscover the freedom, confidence, and joy that come from knowing that our hope, our identity, and our salvation are found in Christ alone.
The question isn't just who tricked the Galatians. The question is: Has something or someone tricked you?

Let's be honest. At some point in life, we have all cared about what other people think about us. Some of us still feel that pressure and are kept from living freely. What if knowing how God sees you changes the way you see yourself and this life? Join Jherson, Nicholas, and Dashawn as they discuss how finding your identity in Jesus and understanding God's blessing over your life can free you from the need of constant approval and help you live with freedom and confidence.
