Sorry about the bible verses I have caught the covid 19.

Just putting a special event happening at the church.
On August 7th, The Yard Sale will take place from 10 am to 2pm

READ the other facebook and see what happens at 10 am I can remember what happens a 10 am hotdogs can be purchase.

Prayer for today-My thoughts
This verse is talking about what it takes to get into Heaven. The Jews and Gentiles were talking about this. But it takes faith in Jesus Christ to get into Heaven. God sent Jesus Christ to earth as a sacrifice for all sinners. People need to confess our sins and not do sins again. God give us standards to go by for behavior, so that we ask God for forgiveness. We go to Jesus Christ to ask for forgiveness, and that we can never keep the ten commandments perfectly. But after we become Christians it can guide us.
Jesus Christ is the way to Heaven.
The Jews people cannot justify why we have to follow the Jewish laws and the ten commandments as a way to get to Heaven.
Jews have to confess their sins to Jesus Christ, just like we have to do to be Christians.

Prayer for today-My thoughts
Jesus told the lawyer, that we are to love God with all our heart. There are no other God to worship. You are to worship God with all you strength, and soul ,and mind. This is the first commandment of the ten. (Exodus 20) The lawyer was tempting Jesus, the lawyer knew that the law demanded total devotion to God and love to one's neighbor.
We need to follow Jesus, the disciples listened to Jesus but they didn't understand all the parables, they understood in time.
We need to help people in our church family first, then our community. A phone call to find out what can be done or what is needed. People needs to help people. Love your neighbor, works more in spreading in Jesus word.

Prayer for today-My thoughts
Christians men and women must be careful on how they speak. Christians people should be talking from their good hearts. They should think before they speak. Their idle words could get they into trouble. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, Jesus have cleaned your soul of all the sins in your body. You have to be careful of the words that you speak. Clean you mouth of your speech. Hopefully, you didn't speak bad before. Let the Holy Spirit fill your body with new words, new moods, new motives, and new attitudes.
When you get to Heaven and have to give an account of what we have done on earth, idle words is one thing we have to talk about.

Please Jesus, forgive us for our idle words. Please make us aware of our idle words and help us to not say any. Praise your name Lord Jesus. Please be with us and take care of us.

Prayer for today-My thoughts
God can make you have everything that you need. Please build your faith on God and don't lose or reduce your faith in God.
Keep your faith growing, keep attending church, keep talking to Christians, keep watching the church on TV. Keep watching the Roxana Church sermon on the computer: roxanazionandsoundumc.org this is the web site for the church.
I know many of you can't go to church and use this as your church. You can still grow your faith in God by looking around you. The trees, flowers, animals in your yards. God is there. The flowers are growing and blooming.
God is all around us. Pray for peace on this earth and be thankful for what we have.
