Through the generosity of everyone who supported our 2026 Golf Tournament Charity Fundraiser, we were blessed to designate a large portion of this year’s proceeds totaling $8,275.37 to Life Message, Inc., a local nonprofit based in the city of Rowlett where our church is now located. Life Message devotes its energy to passionately serving our community, veterans, seniors and families with food assistance, clothing & services that gives hope and a hand up.
Today after church, Chris Kizziar, founder and president of Life Message, met with our Vicar and parish trustee to receive the contribution. During their time together, Chris shared a meaningful connection with our church. Many years ago, when he first founded Life Message, the first group to volunteer with the ministry came from the Church of the Nazarene, the congregation that previously owned our church building.
Returning after many years, Chris was amazed to see how the church had been transformed and was touched that its present congregation had reached out to support the organization. It was a beautiful full-circle moment and a reminder of how God continues His work through different people and seasons.
Following a short prayer of offering and thanksgiving by our Vicar, the check was presented on behalf of our parish.
We are extremely grateful to our 2026 Golf Tournament coordinators, donors, sponsors, supporters, participating teams, volunteers, and entire church community. Your generosity and cheerful giving made this possible. May God bless your offering and use it to bring hope, help, and encouragement to many.
