We are excited to announce the hiring of our new Youth Choir Director, Casey McCollough. He is the head choir director at Independence High School in the Frisco ISD. He has served as the Head director in our area, too, in Mesquite ISD and Wylie ISD. Casey has built some of the largest choral programs in the state and is well-loved by his students. His magnetic personality and energy will be a great deal of fun for our youth. He has vast knowledge of youth choirs and expertise in church worship music. Don and Sandy Shelley, and Nancy Farrell have all known Casey for many years and are very excited to have him as our next director. We look forward to introducing him during worship at 9:00 am and during Youth Life Group at 10am. He will also be joining our youth and parents for dinner at 6:00 pm in the Lighthouse this Sunday, so we invite all our youth and parents, whether you’ve participated in Youth Choir before or not, to join us Sunday night to get to know him in a more relaxed atmosphere. We know our youth will love being a part of this continuing legacy of great choral music and look forward to our future with Casey as our new director.
