We shared a great evening of fellowship, encouragement, and study at The Evangel School of Leadership last night. We are now halfway through Module 9: The Old Testament Witness to Christ and His Kingdom. I love Tuesday evenings with my dear sisters and brother. What a joy to have a fellow TUMI site leader with us to see how we offer courses online through our learning platform World Impact U.

And just like that we say goodbye to Module 5: Bible Interpretation at The Evangel School of Leadership. What a great 8 weeks it has been. We have enjoyed great fellowship, study, and rich discussions. We look forward to our next course, Module 9: The Old Testament Witness to Christ and His Kingdom next semester (January 2023).

PSA: If you are smart enough, committed enough, studious enough, and have spent enough time to understand the prequel, sequel, and chronology of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR, or Harry Potter literature, films, and/or series… You are capable of understanding the literature, chronology, and library that is the Bible given the same devotion.

Pastors, we all need to be developing those who will lead in our absence. The Lord spent the better part of three years developing disciples who would carry on the mission after his departure. Moses’ prayer for his successor (Joshua), is a good prayer for us all.

“Moses said to the Lord, ‘May the Lord, the God who gives breath to all living things, appoint someone over this community to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so that the Lord’s people will not be like sheep without a shepherd.’”
