In the midst of a busy and sometimes divided world, we all need a place to pause, breathe, and remember that we are held in God's grace. 🙏

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, the Chapel at St. Philip’s UMC will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for anyone who would like to spend a few quiet moments in prayer.

Come before work, during your lunch break, before voting, after voting, or whenever you need a moment of stillness. Pray for our community, our nation, our leaders, our neighbors, and all those who are carrying worry or uncertainty.

There will be no service, no program, and no expectations. Just a quiet space to be still, seek God's presence, and pray.

You do not have to be a member of St. Philip’s. You do not have to believe all the same things or agree on every issue. You are welcome here.

In every season, we are called to love our neighbors, extend grace, and seek the peace of Christ.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. All are welcome.

🗣 We're looking for volunteers to serve as affirmation of faith and scripture readers in our 11:00 AM Sunday worship service. No experience is needed. It is all written out for you on the podium. Reading the affirmation of faith and God's Word aloud is an easy, meaningful way to take part in the Sunday service.

If you'd like to read and would like to be added to the rotation, please let Gordon Leeks know by November 8 at [email protected] or talk with him at the 11 o’clock service. Readings are usually given a few days ahead so you have time to practice.

Thank you for helping the St. Philip's worship service come alive.
