Our Musical Feast Concert Series returns Sunday, September 13, with duo pianists Aaron Kurz and Vivian Anderson, featuring both duo and solo piano works.

The St. Richard’s Pumpkin Patch has been a fall tradition in our community for nearly three decades — bringing generations of families, friends and neighbors together each October.

📚 St. Richard’s Kids is almost back — and we could use a few more helping hands!

Classes begin September 13, and we’re excited to share that all of our Leader dates are already filled. Now we’re looking for a few volunteers to serve as assistants in the Upper Level class from 9:15–10:15 a.m.

You don’t have to commit every week — even helping once or twice this fall would make a difference.

Open assistant dates:
Sept. 20, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Nov. 15, Nov. 22, Dec. 6 and Dec. 20

🇺🇸 A quick Labor Day note from St. Richard’s

The church office will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

The program will feature both duo and solo piano works, all in the beautiful setting of the Nave.

👑 There’s a place for every generation in Daughters of the King.

At St. Richard’s, the Daughters of the King offers women an opportunity to grow in prayer, service and fellowship — and this fall, that ministry is growing with the establishment of a new Junior Daughters of the King chapter.

On Sunday, September 13, we’ll celebrate the new Junior chapter during the 10:30 a.m. service, along with the induction of new members into the Daughters of the King.

If you’re interested in learning more about becoming a Daughter, you’re welcome to visit a meeting. The group meets on the second Sunday of each month after the service.

Whether you’re already familiar with DOK or simply curious about the ministry, we’d love to have you come learn more.

What a joyful and meaningful evening at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church. 💙

Our parish gathered to celebrate the installation of The Rev. Stephen Carson as the sixth rector of St. Richard’s, with Bishop Ryan presiding over this important milestone in the life of our church.

Surrounded by parishioners, family, friends, and members of the wider church community, we shared in worship, prayer, and fellowship as we marked the beginning of this new chapter together.

We are especially grateful to the many members of the clergy who joined us for the service, helping us celebrate this milestone and welcome Fr. Stephen into the Diocese of Texas. Their presence was a beautiful reminder of the wider church community surrounding and supporting St. Richard’s.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rector Search Committee and Vestry for the prayer, discernment, leadership, and countless hours that helped bring us to this moment. Their faithful work throughout the search process has played an important part in this next chapter for our parish.

Thank you as well to everyone who helped prepare for the service and reception, and to all who joined us to celebrate.

Please continue to keep Fr. Stephen, his family and the entire St. Richard’s community in your prayers as we move forward together in faith and ministry.
