God knows what you need to work on so that he can use you to bring people to him. The hardest job for most of us is to make sure we get out of his way to let his spirit guide us, and that is what we're all about here.

While you have time off from work over the holidays it is a good time to do some outreach. Find somebody in need and help them. Even if they don't want to hear from you right now it is good to let people know you are available in case they ever do need somebody to talk to.

This also means that if you don't work you don't eat, if you work little you will eat little, and if you only work sometimes you will only have something to eat sometimes. (The Lord hears the needy. Ps 69:33. I've never found a scripture that says he hears the lazy.)
