On Saturday, August 22, members of New Red Mountain joined together with Kingdom Community International for a "Rise Against Hunger" meal-packing event.
What a blessing it was to see men, women, young people, and children working side by side with one purpose to serve others and help make a difference in the fight against hunger. Every meal packed represented more than food; it represented love, compassion, hope, and the heart of Christian service.
We are grateful for every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and willing hands to serve. Thank you to Kingdom Community International for hosting and to "Rise Against Hunger" for providing an opportunity for us to put our faith into action.
10,000 meals were packed!!!!!!!!
