Rotterdam Community Center A place where neighbors of all backgrounds can gather without fear to support, learn & grow together.

The “three legs” of our open table, all crosscut by a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, are:

1) food security
2) mental health & wellbeing
3) arts, culture & self expression

Formed by the historic 2021 consolidation of the former Trinity Reformed Church into Messiah Lutheran, Trinity's former church space is now a resource for everyone in our community, no matter their religious affiliation! We host a wide variety of regular weekly offerings from Movie Night to 12 Step Programs, Community Crafters to Zumba, Board Game Night and Yoga. The Rotterdam Community Center also houses our Bread of Life Food Pantry and Produce Pantry programs. We also regularly host community concerts and other one-time arts and culture events, all which can be found on the 'events' tab of our page.

Had a blast joining our partners at United Way of the Greater Capital Region for their Campaign Kickoff tonight. What an event! Great to be in the room with so many community stakeholders who are working hard to support our neighbors throughout the Capital Region. The BEST part was hearing from some of our tiniest neighbors about the joy they receive through UW’s partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library which has brought over 300K free books to local kiddos. Truly incredible. Shout-out to Peter, Claire, Heather & the entire UnitedWay team for making magic tonight. Proud & grateful to be your partner!
