Pr. Syl ended his vacation time a bit shorter to accept the invitation of our Bishop, and went to Tampa to participate in the "Latino" forum of our Synod. There, he met Bishop Rafael Malpica, who was for decades the director of world missions of ELCA. He will be back with us next Sunday.

It was a privilege for Jim, Debbie, and Pastor Syl, to attend the Florida-Bahamas Synod Assembly of the ELCA this past week. They are all deeply proud of representing Faith Rotonda West at the conference. As the pictures below show, Pastor Syl had the joy of serving communion and reading scripture during the opening and closing services. God is good!
