Update: Joe was flown to Albuquerque where they believe he has an infection in his lungs. Treatment will begin up there and a team of doctors is working on a plan. Please keep him and Lana in your prayers. Thanks

Church family and friends. Please keep our brother, Joe Reese in your prayers again. He continues to battle health issues with his lungs and needs our intercession before God’s throne.

Update on Shasta from Carla:

Not the kind of update I want to make. Part good, part not.
She was able to be off the non-rebreather for about 20 minutes this morning while she was awake, but still needs both when sleeping. Lasix is doing a good job taking fluid off (at least 4 liters since last night). She developed a large blood clot in her right upper leg about 6 last night. They are giving her heparin to keep it from getting bigger, and she has regained some circulation. She can’t have any sedation surgeries until her lungs are clear because she probably wouldn’t survive. So, removing the clot is on hold for now. She also can’t have her heart surgery until then either.
The heart disorder she has generally leads to congestive heart failure. We didn’t know that until today. Looking back, she’s had signs for years. They are just getting progressively worse now.
I don’t know how long we will be in the hospital.

Hopefully the “Best art worker in the world” will stick around for a few more years.

Prayer’s Needed: Our dear sister in Christ, Shasta, was flown out to Lubbock after a scary medical episode last night. They are running tests on her. Please take time to lift her and the family up in prayer. 🙏 Thank you church family and prayer warriors!

Please keep our brother Joe Reese in your prayers. He’s battling double pneumonia again and is in the hospital. Keep him and Lana in your hearts and keep lifting them before the throne of God! Thanks church family.

Pastor Tim is recovering well at home. Arm is sore, but the doctor got a lot of the infection cleaned out. Antibiotics will hopefully take care of the rest. Thank you everyone for the prayers!!

Update 5:22 p.m. on 4/8/26: We arrived at 10:45 this morning. He wasn’t taken into the OR until 4:20. I’m still in the waiting room waiting to hear from doctor. Will update when we are home.

Update 6:33 p.m. All went well! PTL! Thank you all for your prayers! We are just waiting to be released to go home!
