The Heart of RISE UP!

1. We are passionate about raising up a generation of kids with character and morality. We use the Bible as a guide in which we teach different character qualities. We do this through fun, high energy games and skits and give the kids tools for practical application. We want the Kindergarteners to know that there are 5th graders in their school seeking to make the right choi

ces as well. We hope to bridge that gap. By the time the kids leave our program and move on to middle school, we want them to have a solid peer group that is seeking God and character.

2. We want every child that comes to a Rise Up! meeting to know that they are loved and adored by God; that they were created for a purpose with a unique skill set; and that God desires to be in relationship with them.

3. We want the children to know that the Bible is exciting and full of adventure; that God chose misfits, not perfect people, to go on those adventures; and that He even used children......anyone whose hearts were willing.

4. We want to partner with parents. I believe there are a lot of parents who want to raise their children with a solid Biblical foundation, but don’t know how. That’s where we step in. In elementary school, kids are still eager to communicate with their parents. It is our goal that the Rise Up! meetings will help jump start those conversations. In addition, we will provide the children and parents with resources to help create more teachable opportunities inside the home. And that’s the heart of Rise Up!
