This week in our new series, ROAD TRIP đź—ş, the kids learned more about loving God by taking a closer look at the first and second commandments.

This Sunday, we are kicking off a new series called ROAD TRIP 🗺️ In this series, we’ll introduce kids to some of God’s “rules of the road,” from Moses and the ten commandments all the way to what Jesus called the Greatest Commandment — to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Together, we’ll discover that we can love God and others by putting God first, worshiping God, loving our families, and loving everyone.

MISSING SHOE!!! đź‘ź
Hey, Waymaker parents! We need your help. Sunday morning at the end of first service we had some kiddos mix up shoes on their way out of the gym during checkout time. Please check your child's shoes to see if you ended up with a mismatched set. If so we have your other shoe and we can return the other one to it's owner. Email [email protected] or call the church office at 575.627.9190.

This week as we kicked off our new series, HELP! the kids got to see how God rescued baby Moses and his family when they had no one to turn to.
THE BIG IDEA: God helps us when we’re helpless.
THE SCRIPTURE: Exodus 1:22-2:10; Matthew 18:19-20

In this series, we’ll help kids see they can always call on God for what they need. As kids hear the story of Israel escaping slavery in Egypt (and what happened afterward), they’ll discover that God helps us when we’re helpless, helps us in our weakness, helps us when we’re in trouble, and will even help us help others. God is the help we need — always!
