I cannot sit back and hear someone preaching a false religious message that has nothing to do with Jesus and His Finished Work. This is when the boldness of the Lord rises in me and I cannot hold my tongue. I don't care if it is a room full of people or not I will stand up for the truth of the gospel and expose the religious lies.

Come join us tomorrow morning at Carpenter's House of Prayer. The Lord has put on my heart to do away with the traditional setting of a "church service" and just give the Spirit free reign. Paul said this:

1 Corinthians 14:26 NASB1995
"What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification."

Let us exercise what the Lord has put on the inside of each of us who believes for the sake of edification. It has never been about a sermon while everyone else sits in silence. This is not the whole Body functioning nor is it how the early church gathered. My desire is to see each member of His Ekklesia rise up,step into their calling, and to see full participation with the Spirit with no restraints. I desire to see an atmosphere of freedom where Jesus Christ is truly the Head not just from a positional stand point but also in experience.

We don't need any outward law or regulations for "sin management". We have the One who removed our sin living in us. He took our sin and gave us His righteousness. Now it is Him who works in us both to do and will for His good pleasure. Why put ourselves back under strict commandments that will just arouse sinful behaviors? This is what being under the law does.

"Do this more,do that more, strive to serve God" is nothing more than the law revamped in the name of Christian obligation. It puts the focus on SELF and not Christ. Wherever there is self-effort there is the works of the law. It is the opposite of faith. Faith is the pure belief in what Christ accomplished to make us righteous. The just (righteous) shall walk by faith (a pure belief in Christ and His Finished Work). To add to the Finished Work by our self efforts (works of the law) we are making His grace of no effect (Galatians 2:21). And doing this we are actually in disobedience and UNBELIEF towards the Gospel of Christ.

We must learn to cease from our own works as God did from His. This means that we stop trying in our "christian striving" and just rest in the indwelling life of Jesus Christ. We all desire to walk in obedience towards God as born again believers, we just need to adjust our focus and see only Christ, looking away from our efforts to attain this because Jesus ALREADY has.

"The letter kills but the Spirit gives life."

It is the Spirit that gives life not the outward scriptures or our knowledge of scripture. To only have knowledge of scripture we are like the Pharisees who searched the scriptures but missed the point of them. There are many who are limited in Bible knowledge but walk with the true knowledge of knowing Christ, a true spiritual knowing that has nothing to do with mental assent. We tend to make the Bible into a book of following principles and not a Person without the direction of the Holy Spirit who brings us into all truth. Thus we turn the Bible into external laws to follow and ignore the Person of the indwelling Lord who lives the life as us. If we read the Bible through the wrong lens of self perception Christianity becomes just like any other religion in this world that offers nothing but death and unfulfillment. The external letter of scripture kills without the power of the Holy Spirit who gives and expresses life through the believer.

There is only one sin that sends people to hell and that is UNBELIEF in Jesus Christ:

When one believes from their heart, they are born again and have received a new nature in Christ, born from the seed of God. No longer are they a sinner on a nature level but are translated into His likeness and exact image. A sinful lifestyle will be out of the picture because His seed remains in the believer and it is the indwelling Lord who works and does for His good pleasure. Even if one who is born again does fall into a sinful pattern God will always bring the individual back to the place they need to be.

Sin described in scripture is a noun not a verb. It is as Ephesians 2:3 puts it "the spirit that works in the children of disobedience". Through faith in Christ we become partakers of God's divine nature and in the core center of who we are become one spirit with Him. Sins are the fruit of the noun we just explained and as believers they come as our outward members are aroused to respond downward. It is not coming from within but from without. We respond to outward influences in a negative manner. In other words we are not operating from our identity in Christ but operating from who we are not (the flesh).

The flesh is the old residue from the old self who was crucified with Christ. This is not who we are because we are no longer joined to the spirit of error the very essence of sin. Most think sin is something we do and are ignorant to the fact it was someone we contained which resulted in the lifestyle we lived. Before we were born again we could not help but to express sin in every aspect of life because we were not born again by the Spirit. We were slaves of sin and did its bidding.

It is our spirits that are eternal and we share the destiny of the master that we are joined to. Before Christ we were joined to the spirit of satan whose destiny is the lake of fire. Once we believe the truth and receive Christ into our hearts we are transformed spiritually and enter into His reality which is eternal life in Heaven. Our addresses and destinies are changed. As believers we may still have struggles with actions of sin but those do not define us in our spiritual center where we share the same reality as Christ. His blood in fact has perfectly cleansed us once and for all and we stand perfected and justified.

But failure to believe in Jesus and living in unbelief, the end results will be sharing the same destination as the devil because of being one spirit with him. This is why we must be born again! But the sad reality is most Christians do not know why they must be born again. They just know they have committed an action of sin and need a Savior for forgiveness. They are ignorant of the root cause of the action and think they were the source in their humanity. When in fact our humanity is just a vessel to express the spirit that we contain.

It is about coming to an end of our striving and hustling and bustling at life. Then we will find true rest in and through Christ. In Hebrews it says for us to labor to enter into His rest. This is paradoxical in nature (We find that a lot with the Lord). But through these opposites we find that we must come to the end of our labors, that is by trying until we cannot try any longer.

For me it came to a place where I told the Lord that I would no longer do anything for Him. That if He wanted something done He would have to do it through me. Ever since then I have been free. I labored to enter into His rest by trying to live the Christian Life until I could no longer bear it. From there everything that I previously knew was put on the altar and the only thing that remained and mattered was Jesus Christ to be the life in and through me.
