THE HOLY CONVOCATION OF YOM TERUAH

“The Sound That Calls the People of Yahweh”

The Day of Shouting / Blast / Alarm

The seven days can progressively reveal:

CALL → AWAKEN → REMEMBER → REPENT → DISCERN → PREPARE → KINGDOM

DAY 1 — THE HOLY CONVOCATION

“Yahweh Calls His People Together”

Key thought

Yom Teruah is not merely a day on a calendar.

It is a mikra kodesh — מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ — holy convocation.

Mikra comes from the Hebrew root קרא — qara’, meaning:

* to call
* proclaim
* summon
* announce
* call together

The Feast begins with a call.

Yahweh calls His people out of ordinary activity and into sacred assembly.

Prophets

Isaiah 18:3

Zephaniah 1:14–16

Joel declares:

“Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly.”

Notice the progression:

Trumpet → Consecration → Assembly

Yahweh gathers His people.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…”

Messianic connection

Matthew 24:31

The same Messiah who gathers His people is associated with the great sound of the trumpet.

Teaching emphasis

Yahweh’s people must learn to recognize His call.

The first lesson of Yom Teruah is:

You cannot respond to a trumpet you refuse to hear.

“Yahweh, awaken Your people. Teach us to hear Your voice, recognize Your call, and assemble ourselves before You.”

DAY 7 — LOVE YAHWEH AND CLING TO HIM

📖 TORAH — Deuteronomy 30:19–20

“Therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love Yahweh your Elohim, obey His voice, and cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days…”

🔥 PROPHETS — Zechariah 8:23

“In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall take hold of the garment of a Jewish man, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you.’”

🎵 PSALM — Psalm 63:7–8

“Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.”

✨ BRIT CHADASHAH — John 15:4–5

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

🔥 THE FINAL MESSAGE OF NITZAVIM

The seven days form a prophetic journey:

1. NITZAVIM

Stand.

2. REVELATION

Hear what Yahweh has revealed.

3. TESHUVAH

Return.

4. CIRCUMCISED HEART

Be transformed within.

5. THE WORD NEAR

Hear and do.

6. CHOOSE LIFE

Walk the covenant path.

7. DAVAQ

Cling to Yahweh and remain faithful.

And Revelation brings the journey to its ultimate destination:

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life…” — Revelation 22:14

Nitzavim begins with a covenant people standing before Yahweh.

It moves through repentance, heart transformation, obedience, and choosing life.

And it ends with the faithful entering the presence of Yahweh and the tree of life.

STAND FIRM.

RETURN TO YAHWEH.

CHOOSE LIFE.

CLING TO HIM.

HOLD FAST TO YESHUA.

REMAIN FAITHFUL UNTIL THE END.

DAY 6 — CHOOSE LIFE

📖 TORAH — Deuteronomy 30:15, 19–20

“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil… I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love Yahweh your Elohim, obey His voice, and cling to Him, for He is your life…”

🔥 PROPHETS — Ezekiel 18:23

“Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? says Yahweh Elohim, and not rather that he should turn from his ways and live?”

🎵 PSALM — Psalm 1:1–3

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked… But his delight is in the Torah of Yahweh, and on His Torah he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season.”

Yahweh puts two ways before His people:

Life or death.
Blessing or curse.

And then He commands:

“CHOOSE LIFE.”

Yeshua says His sheep hear His voice and follow Him.

The question isn’t merely whether we have heard the Word.

What will we choose?

“I choose life. I choose Yahweh. I choose obedience. I choose faithfulness to Yeshua.”
