Hello Everyone,
It is truly joyful to share many wonderful things happening this month at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church. Our Hmong Service last Saturday welcomed more than 86 attendees, and we were blessed to distribute over 200 consecrated cross necklaces. This was only possible through the dedication, planning, and service of our incredible volunteers—thank you all for your hard work and generosity.
Also like to express our deep appreciation to our Rector, Fr. Johnson, and the clergy team for your guidance, support, and belief in this ministry. A sincere thank you as well to Ann and the Vestry for your leadership and for wholeheartedly welcoming this expanding outreach within our church.
On behalf of the Hmong Ministry Committee, we are honored and grateful to receive the approval of a $1,000 budget for our next Hmong Service in January 2026. Thank you for recognizing the value of this mission and the impact it is having within the Hmong community.
Additionally, as many of you know, the Chang family reached out to request funeral services for their brother, Kao Chang, who recently passed away from cancer. On Sunday, October 26, 2025, Fr. Toua, Fr. Johnson, together with our worship team and supporting members, provided a beautiful service that honored his Christian faith. The family shared afterward that St. Christopher’s helped fulfill Kao’s final wish to have a Christian funeral, and that our love, compassion, and hospitality exceeded their expectations. They expressed heartfelt gratitude for the time, prayer, and support shown to their family and extended relatives.
Thank you all once again for your leadership, partnership, and prayers as we continue to grow this ministry together. God bless!
