B.A.Y.S.I.D.E. BIBLICALLY BASED

We believe that practical, relevant teaching is the catalyst for transformation in individuals’ lives. Scripture is inspired by God, completely accurate and our authority regarding Christian beliefs and the guide for Christian living. ATMOSPHERE OF ACCEPTANCE
We believe all people matter to God and ought to matter to the church. We want everyone to experience God’s grace and love. YOUTH MINISTRY
We believe that ministries to children and teenagers should be given high priority. We are committed to making Bayside a center for reaching, encouraging and developing the youth of our area. SMALL GROUPS
We believe that Christian growth, life-change, and pastoral care happen best in small groups. We consider it vital that everyone participates in a small-group Bible study. INSPIRING WORSHIP
We look for God’s love in our lives as the evidence that we have been truly worshiping Him. We celebrate together with great music, teaching, and prayer. DISCIPLESHIP
We believe that full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer. EQUIPPING LEADERS
We believe that enabling people to discover and develop their gifts is God’s strategy for changing the world!

Baptism is one of the most beautiful things you’ll ever witness. Because every person in these photos has a story. Different backgrounds. Different struggles. Different questions. Different roads that led them here. But they all made the same decision to publicly identify with Jesus.

Scripture describes baptism as a picture of leaving the old life behind and stepping into the new life Christ offers. “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death... that we too may live a new life.”  Romans 6:4

It’s about perfection. It’s not about having everything figured out. It’s about saying, “Jesus changed my life, and I’m not hiding it.” And that’s worth celebrating. He is still changing lives.

Some of us think our story is over because of our mistakes.
The Samaritan woman came to the well carrying shame, but she left carrying a testimony. That’s what Jesus does. He rewrites stories we thought were finished. He helps us see what He sees. And He turns our shame into a testimony.

The Gospel isn’t that Jesus loves a future version of you. The Gospel is that He knows everything about you and still invites you close. Your most powerful witness won’t be your perfection. It will be your encounter with Jesus.

“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” John 4:29

As another school year comes to an end, many parents find themselves carrying the same prayers in different seasons.
Some are sending a graduate into a brand-new chapter.
Some are sending a child to summer camp. Some are simply watching their kids grow up faster than they expected.

No matter what season you’re in, don’t underestimate the power of your prayers. Prayer is not a last resort. Prayer is partnership with God.
Your prayers may not control every decision your child makes, but they invite the presence, wisdom, protection, and power of God into their lives. Long before your child walks into a classroom, a dorm room, a workplace, or a friendship, God can already be there preparing the way.

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16

Parents, keep praying. Pray when they’re sleeping. Pray when they’re struggling. Pray when they’re succeeding. Pray when you don’t know what else to do. Because the prayers you pray today may become the testimony they tell tomorrow.

God hears every prayer. God sees every tear. And God loves your child even more than you do. Take a moment today and pray one of these prayers over your child. Then tag and share this with another parent who needs this reminder.

Some of us have been asking God for a new season when He’s actually offering a new heart. Spiritual renewal isn’t behavior modification. It isn’t trying harder or becoming a better version of yourself. It’s allowing Jesus to bring dead things back to life.

The Gospel of John is a story of renewal. Water becomes wine. Blind eyes are opened. Lazarus walks out of a tomb. But the greatest miracle wasn’t what Jesus did around people. It was what He wanted to do within them.

“Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
That life doesn’t begin when you die. It begins the moment you surrender.
If your soul feels dry, tired, or stuck, Jesus still offers the same invitation
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” John 4:14

Renewal begins where surrender begins.

The same Savior who called Lazarus from the grave is still calling people out of things they thought would bury them. Your story isn’t over. Your faith isn’t finished. Jesus is still in the resurrection business.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives so others could live in freedom. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a date on the calendar, it is sacred remembrance. It is the echo of sacrifice. It is the cost of courage. It is names etched into history because ordinary people chose extraordinary bravery.

Scripture says in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

There are heroes who quite literally ran their race for the sake of others. Sons. Daughters. Fathers. Mothers. Friends. Men and women who stepped into danger carrying the weight of a nation on their shoulders so future generations could wake up in freedom.

And to every family carrying the ache of loss, we are praying for you. We pray that God would draw near to the brokenhearted, bring peace where there is grief, strength where there is weariness, and comfort where words fall short. May the legacy of your loved ones never be forgotten.

Lord, thank You for those who gave everything. Bless the families who continue to carry both the honor and pain of their sacrifice. Cover our nation with Your mercy, wisdom, and peace. Heal what is divided. Restore what is broken. And may we never take freedom for granted.

God bless America

John 3:16 doesn’t say humanity was struggling.
It says we were perishing.

Not drowning with floaties on. Dead in sin. Condemned.
Hopeless because we were apart from Jesus.

But God saw humanity in ruins and didn’t send motivation. He sent a Rescuer.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” John 3:16

Jesus stepped into our punishment so we could step into His promise. Took our wrath. Carried our shame. Defeated death. And made a way home.

That’s not weak love. That’s rescue mission love.
