Prayer is something we often think we should just be able to do because, well, we believe. We forget that Jesus had to teach his disciples how to pray. In our first summer series, beginning May 31, we will be using the acronym ACTS to teach prayer. ACTS stands for prayers of Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication. We typically pray by focusing on one or perhaps two of those kinds of prayer, but a well-rounded prayer life intentionally utilizes each of them.

Thank you to everyone for helping the youth reach their fundraising goal this year! We funded all 6 camp scholarships and over 50% of the North Carolina trip thanks to Prince of Peace's generosity. We are blessed to be a part of such a supportive congregation.
