Its with a deep sadness that I (Kimberly) write this,But I feel like I owe you an explanation and not just sneak out the back door. After 12 years of leading children's ministry, I am stepping down. After much prayer, our family has decided to leave Metro. We will miss each of you so much. It has been an honor and a joy to be your leader. I'm not sure whats next for us, BUT I know that the Lord goes before us and will lead us. We are not leaving angry or bitter. Please know that. I'm sure it will be some time before there is even a ministry for the children, but you all still deserve to know that I wont be returning. Love you all so so dearly, and I hope and pray our paths cross again. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for serving along side of me.

We hope and pray you are well. We’re writing to let you know that Robb and Kim Walters are moving on from Metro. As many of you know, they are long-serving and faithful volunteers that have shared over a decade of their lives and hearts with us. As I am working on the children's ministry schedule for the classes, I am noticing a whole bunch of need for some additional help. Metro folks, we are in need of people to step up. Who is willing to love on, pray over, read to, sing with, and just make a complete fool of them-self with some 2 year olds, some 3 year olds and 4 year olds? The need is real folks and the time to help is now. We can’t do this alone.
