Giving Gardeners at work, to feed our hungry neighbors! Potatoes and onions are just planted. Garlic came up as first thaw arrived. Now for tomatoes, peppers, and kale!

I stand with my brother in Christ, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, in his courageous call for a kingdom of peace.

As I prepare to visit Rome later this month to meet and pray with Pope Leo, I am mindful of his call to keep our eyes open to the suffering of the world, and our gaze fixed on our crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ – the image of the invisible God, in whose image and likeness every human being is made. In him, we recognise that we are children of the one Father and members of a single human family. Prayer is not an escape from the world, nor a turning away from injustice; rather, it is a turning towards God in the midst of it, confronting evil, seeking God’s will, and becoming instruments of transformation and peace.

This is a great opportunity for youth in middle school and high school!

ECMN is excited to announce the theme for ECMN Youth Camp 2026.

A team of dedicated Youth met last month to discuss many aspects of camp, and how to make it even better for both returning and new campers.

Between discussions of games, food, crafts, songs, and activities, students landed on the theme that will anchor us together during our week of camp.

The Youth Camp Youth Leadership Team are excited to introduce the theme: Gathered at the Table.

These youth believe that part of our commitment as Episcopal followers of Jesus is that we meet God, and one another, at Eucharist and when we share food with each other.

This summer, our youth will hear and explore more stories of what happens when God shows up and calls us to do the same around tables of all shapes and sizes.

I will not pretend that I am not afraid, but I also will not give fear my hope. And my hope is anchored to what I have seen with my own eyes: incompetence and corruption may be in the ascendent for a season, but the power of truth and common sense will prevail. The people will prevail. One day, and we pray, one day soon. Until then, do not give fear your hope.
