While watching the news this week I saw a brief interview with Tulsi Gabbard. Tulsi was explaining the meaning of aloha. I have always heard it means hello or goodbye. She defined aloha simply as, "I see you as a child of God." It is conscious decision to see all people with value. Not because of their wealth, political bent, looks, or accomplishments. See them simply and beautifully as reflections of the One who created them in His image and likeness. How much difference would this make if we all could adopt this way of believing. Not treating others as your enemy but seeing them through the eyes of the Father whether believers or pre-Christian. This is the call of Christ, “To love one another as I have loved you.” It is possible to assume that this task is simple; however, that is not the case. It cannot be achieved without personal change. In other words, our transformation.
Charlie Kirk will be put to rest today after his assignation on September 16, 2025. He may no longer be here with us, but his life will continue to impact ours and the worlds for years to come. Simply because he loved Jesus and empowered by His grace created an atmosphere where we can discuss the possibility of mutual respect and still not agree. The life of Our Lord is the ultimate answer to all that plagues modern society. Jesus came to earth and brought his kingdom with him. To re unite us with Our Father and with one another. Charlie was simply following Jesus’ example in what he was called to do. My hope is that hundreds of thousands of lives will be challenged to do the same. To pick up their cross and follow the Lord no matter the cost.
Blessings,
