We had such a great time during our Zoom prayer and Bible Study last night.
Not only did we study and pray, but we also played a Bible game called “Blurt Out” - a Bible based question is asked and everyone blurts out the correct answer - it was so fun!
Remember to not let the enemy nor anyone question you on what God has already made clear to you through your prayers and/or His word. Never debate or even have a conversation about your dreams, your plans, your prayers with someone who does not believe, respect or mock God!

I LOVED when my husband David, and my Pastor, asked me to come up to the altar so he could pray for me this past Sunday - it was the absolute best feeling ever! He doesn’t do this often, so when he does and does it under the unction of the Holy Spirit, it is something EXTRA special.
When we were engaged to be married over 25 years ago, our Pastor, Richard Ford, shared one of the most important scriptures in a marriage. It was Ecclesiastes 4:12 - “A threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
We have kept this scripture in our marriage since then and forever will. We individually have our own relationship with God. But, together, we keep God in our relationship. We abide, stay rooted and stay knitted together with Jesus Christ. Do not let anything nor anyone unbraid your cord.
This song, “Dwelling Places” by Hillsong, was played at our wedding ceremony. It was actually sung by my best friend and maid of honor, Debbi Urbano (Bellman at that time), and was dedicated not necessarily to each other, but to Jesus, Who placed us together and is the center of our relationship 💗 - P. If we do not rise up out of our tragedy, sorrow, pain and misery, satan can use the situation to sink us further into depression and destruction and may cause us to stop believing and trusting in God; he may cause us to stop going to church, praying and reading our bibles; we may end up backsliding. Because of what Jesus Christ did on Calvary, we no longer need the Ephod like David used in I Samuel 30:8. But, thank God we have an unction, we have His word. We can boldly come into the presence of our Lord for help in times of need. Don’t let the enemy steal your finances, consume your time, take your strength. He is a thief and a liar. Rise up! God is your source of wisdom, your supernatural strength and weapon of warfare - P. Dorothy

If you are facing any kind of distress or difficult situation that is hard to fix, if you are physically and emotionally at a lost, you must rise up, encourage yourself and inquire of the Lord. To be encouraged is to be made strong, to take courage, to conquer, to become mighty, to be stout, to act with bravery and determination. Remember Who Your God Is! When we do this we are not becoming callous, arrogant or cold-hearted; we are not denying the reality of the situation we’re facing, but we are doing something to determine the final outcome.

August 30, 2026 - Today’s service began with the Holy Spirit moving upon Pastor David’s heart to pray for his wife, Pastor Dorothy, before she went up to minister God’s word. It was a very moving and touching moment. This is our deepest desire, for the Holy Spirit to do what He wants to do in each and every person in the service and who watches on-line, here on Facebook Live or on our Website. God bless you all as you listen to this entire sermon that is full of hope and encouragement.

Forgiving someone does not only benefit us and our own well-being, but it also keeps the one you’re forgiving from possibly being overwhelmed with guilt and sorrow for what they have done. Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:20,21 that we are to forgive someone who sins against us seventy times seven times. It’s not that we are to keep count up to 490 times…..1, 2, 3, 4…..But we are to continually forgive without keeping a record. If you are a parent dealing with rebellious children, you know your boundaries. Make your communications clear and let them know what you will and will not accept. And on the same hand, comfort and encourage your child to keep Satan from getting the advantage over the situation - II Corinthians 2:11.

I love the new song by Tauren Wells called “Breathe On It”. It reminds me of the scripture in Genesis 2:7 where God created man from the dust. But it is written that it did not become a living being until God BREATHED INTO his nostrils. God is the Spirit of life! If there is something dormant, dead, sleeping, inactive, not growing in your life, pray and ask God to Breathe On It! He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is possible that your dreams, your health, your marriage, your relationships, your finances can suddenly erupt, rise up, wake up and come to LIFE!

Our testimony, our witness to others does not have to be difficult. Keep it simple. It can be 3 simple words like, “I know Somebody.” Our commission by God is to spread the Gospel. He’s looking for the humble, for the willing, for the bold, who will speak words of faith in His healing, His saving, His restoring, His rescuing, His filling. Has God given you a breakthrough in your anxiety, in your depression, in your addictions? Say that! The world is getting louder. Don’t let situations silence your faith. Choose love, grace, mercy and compassion over bitterness and revenge. We don’t need to know and quote the whole Bible to others. But the believer who says even one faith word can change any situation; can lead them to Jesus. Go. Speak. And God will do the rest - Pastor David.

In II Kings 5, there was an ordinary little girl who was placed in a foreign country, yet she spoke up of how her master could be healed. What she said started a miracle in motion. Someone you know may be waiting to hear your faith words. Speak someone’s miracle into existence - Say Something that will open a door for God’s promises to manifest. Never underestimate or overlook your words or words coming from someone else. Speak faith! Tell others what God can do - don’t shut it down.
