The Society of the Holy Child Jesus (SHCJ) is an international community of Roman Catholic Sisters founded by Cornelia Connelly in 1846. Cornelia established a religious congregation that is responsive to the needs of the times, or in Cornelia's own words, "meet the wants of the age." Today, through education, social programs, and partnerships, nearly 400 Sisters of the Holy Child continue Corneli

Yesterday, we joyfully celebrated the installation of our 2026–30 American Province Leadership Team at the Holy Child Chapel in Rosemont, Pennsylvania.
