Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Long before it became Memorial Day, it was known as Decoration Day, a day set aside for decorating the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers and flags. The roots of this observance began in cemeteries, where remembrance itself became an act of gratitude.

As you visit loved ones, attend ceremonies, or gather with family today, we hope you'll also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸🪦

The redbud tree post got me inspired. Behold, the first ever batch of Rosemont Cemetery redbud jam (Rest and Bloom: Late Spring Batch). The next batch has to wait until April of 2027. 🙃

Today was our annual Spring Cleanup Day. Our board members, staff, and even a few family members generously volunteered their time to help spruce up the cemetery in preparation for the season ahead.

We're grateful for their hard work and continued dedication to keeping this space beautiful for all who visit. 🪦🧹🌷

Delaware Valley Regional High School students volunteered their time and talent to create a short documentary highlighting Delaware Valley history and the stories connected to historic Rosemont Cemetery.

The initiative, professionalism, and storytelling in this project are seriously impressive. This is local history brought to life by the next generation, and we couldn’t be more proud to share their work.
