Sunday school re-cap- Central Truth: Godly rulers influence people to live righteously.
2 Chronicles 14:2-2 "And (king)Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God. 3 He took away the foreign altars and the high places and broke down the pillars and cut down the Asherim 4 and commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, and to keep the law and the commandment."

WE ARE AN INFLUENCE TO THE PEOPLE AROUND US! Good or bad!
As we read the verses, we are introduced to King Asa of Judah. He sought the Lord and removed all things that were evil in the eyes of the Lord. What is amazing is that the people followed his lead!

2 Chronicles 15:14 "14 They swore an oath to the Lord with a loud voice and with shouting and with trumpets and with horns. "

Maybe your not a "ruler" or leader within your church, but remember you can be a "Godly" influence to family, friends and co-workers. How we walk, talk, live and worship can help lead others to Christ. Pray this week God gives you boldness to live for him and share the gospel with those around you.

James 1:22
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."

Have a blessed week!
Pastor John
