What a wonderful Sunday Service we had today. Not only was it another joint service with Iglesia Esperanza Viva, but we shared in the Lord’s Table also! and Pastor Sanjay gave us a great message from Galatians 4. God is good!

PASTORAL CANDIDATE: Pastoral Candidate Lucas Admiraal advised the elders to remove his name from further consideration to fill our open senior pastoral position as the Lord has not given Lucas & his wife Yilina peace about the position. Lucas and Yilina had not experienced any "red flags", but after prayer, they decided they should no longer seek the position. Lucas apologized for any discouragement that his decision may cause and said that they will continue to pray that God will send LHBC a pastor who will lead Living Hope Bible Church into the future. We are asking you to pray that God will direct his path for future ministry for them both. All scheduled plans for Lucas have been canceled.

This past Sunday, April 12th we had a Lead Pastor Candidate teach a Combined IEV-LHBC Sunday School and preach in our LHBC Sunday Service.

Lucas Admiraal currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and three young children. Please pray that God will reveal to our church, as well as to Lucas, whether or not he is the man God has selected to pastor our church.

On April 11th, we held our first Membership Class in the past 3 years. Hopefully God will allow us to share in the promise given to Joel:

Joel 2:25 "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you."

What a blessing it was last week, to see the Lord working in the lives of two men at our church who are being prayed for as two new Deacon Candidates! Won’t you join us in praying for them and their families as they go through their training! God is so good!

What a wonderful Sunday Service we had last Sunday. We were witnesses to two young women who gave their lives to Christ and were baptized! And we shared the blessing of the Lords Table as well! Praise God for new believers in His Church!
