This Sunday, Pastor Jide reminded us of the importance of cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27

The more time we spend with the Shepherd in His Word, in prayer, and in His presence, the more we learn to recognize His voice, trust His leading, and follow Him wherever He calls us.

There are many voices competing for our attention, but there is only one Good Shepherd. His voice leads us toward truth, life, peace, and purpose.

May we not settle for secondhand knowledge of Jesus. May we know Him personally, hear His voice clearly, and have the courage to follow where He leads. ❤️

Serving isn’t just about filling a spot on a team. It’s ministry. ❤️

The prayer team is standing in the gap.
The worship team is leading hearts into God’s presence.
The cleaning ministry is preparing a space for people to encounter Him.
The media team is capturing moments that can inspire faith long after Sunday is over.
Marriage ministry is strengthening couples and families.
Dance ministry is worshiping through movement.
Outreach and missions are taking the love of Jesus beyond the walls of the church.

There are so many different roles, but one mission: to glorify God and make Jesus known.

So to every person who serves—whether your ministry is seen by hundreds or happens quietly when no one is watching—what you do matters. Your yes matters. Your service matters. 🙏🏾

Tag someone who serves faithfully at church and give them their flowers today. 💐

Happy September! During our Command Your Month Prayer Gathering, we declared that this month, the Lord desires to reveal Himself to us in a deeper way as our Good Shepherd.

Jesus said: “I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me.”— John 10:14

We must know Jesus not only as our Savior, but also as our Shepherd. Salvation speaks of what Christ has done for us; shepherding speaks of the active, ongoing, personal, and constant relationship He desires to have with us every day.

David understood this when he declared, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1). This month, may we experience what it truly means to be known, led, cared for, protected, and provided for by the Good Shepherd. - Apostle Jide
