Elk Garden School Community Ministry improves the physical, emotional & spiritual well-being of Russell County residents by providing holistic avenues of help through the Grace of God. 🌧️💙 It is raining blessings here today!

We received a pickup truck load of packaged dry mixes to add to our pantry donations—and the timing couldn't be better as school lets out for the summer and families begin adjusting to new routines.

A HUGE thank you to the Russell, Tazewell, Washington, Wise/Dickenson, and Smyth County Farm Bureaus for this generous donation. Your care and support for our communities make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Because of partners like you, we can continue helping families put food on the table when they need it most. Thank you for investing in our community and sharing hope, one meal at a time. ❤️

Wow…just wow! Such an amazing day here today. We harvested 39 pounds of veggies (thank you volunteers!), we enjoyed mango salsa that was a perfect balance of sweet and spice (thank you Kristen at Russell Co Extension Office), and the donuts donated from Ginger Snaps Donut Dispensary. Our community has started off June with a bang!🥳

A huge thank you to our anonymous donor for today's generous gift of food. The variety of new items will be a blessing to so many families in our community.

If you are able to donate (food or financially), we are currently very low on: chicken noodle soup, canned fruit, and Pop-Tarts.

📢 Did You Know?

Our Food Pantry is open every Tuesday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (with the exception of the 5th Tuesday of the month, when we are closed).

✅ Open to all Russell County residents.

If you aren't able to visit during pantry hours, we have our new Blessing Box, located by the sign in the parking lot and stocked this week with dry pasta mixes.

*Please note that during the summer months, we do not place canned goods in the Blessing Box, as high temperatures can affect food quality and safety.

If you need canned goods, we encourage you to stop by our pantry on Tuesdays between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. We're here to help!
