"Sometimes, we wrestle with God, asking Abraham to sacrifice his son! But yet we can praise God for willingly sacrificing His!" ✝️🔥👏

Short Sunday Recap: Genesis 22 was more than a test of Abraham's faith. It was a beautiful foreshadowing of what God would one day accomplish through Jesus Christ! Abraham was willing to offer his beloved son, Isaac, but God intervened and provided a substitute!

Years later, God would give His own beloved Son as the sacrifice for our sins. ❤️

Isaac was spared because God provided a substitute. We can be saved because Jesus became OUR substitute! What Abraham was asked to do, God Himself would one day accomplish. Genesis 22 points us to Calvary, where the love of God would be displayed for the whole world to see!

“He did not even spare his own Son but offered him up for us all.” Romans 8:32 🕊
