Another beautiful day God gave us for KOZ. The water was up and murky but that didn't stop the boys from having fun. Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For anyone who has not accepted Christ, doing so will change your life. When you go in dirty and old and come up new and clean. I encourage anyone wanting to be baptized come to Rosedale Baptist Church tomorrow. We are having a baptism and you too could be made new. Thanks to everyone that came out today.

Yesterday we had one of my favorite outings. I love watching these boys have fun shooting. Colossians 3:1-2
1] If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [2]Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. When you shoot you have to focus on the target and tune out the background to be accurate. The same is true about Christ. Focus on him and tune out the world.

KOZ fish camp 2026 is in the books. This is always a great time and this year is no exception. The boys had an amazing time. I have been reflecting on failure lately and with it being Father's Day tomorrow, it was laid on me harder. As a father, my son often feels he's a failure to me. Even though I get upset and mad at him he is never a failure to me. This is the same as our heavenly father. No matter what we do he still loves us unconditionally. Romans 3:23-24 tells us exactly that and that by his grace we are still loved no matter what. Thanks to everyone that came and helped this weekend. It's always memorable every year.

Tomorrow when you come to the church please enter from the bottom parking lot. The church had the parking lot sealed and if we could stay off that it would be great.

Reminder next Friday we will be leaving the church at 12 for our camping and fishing trip. Please let me know whose coming so we can plan. We are excited and can't wait.
