The Great Shepherd of the sheep. Read this to start your Sunday and have a wonderful day!

Every once in a while, a ewe will give birth to a lamb and reject it. There are many reasons she may do this. If the lamb is returned to the ewe, the mother may even kick the poor animal away. Once a ewe rejects one of her lambs, she will never change her mind.

These little lambs will hang their heads so low that it looks like something is wrong with its neck. Their spirit is broken.

These lambs are called “bummer lambs.” Unless the Shepherd intervenes, that lamb will die, rejected and alone. So, do you know what the Shepherd does?

He takes that rejected little one into His home, hand-feeds it and keeps it warm by the fire. He will wrap it up with blankets and hold it to His chest so the bummer can hear His heartbeat. Once the lamb is strong enough, the Shepherd will place it back in the field with the rest of the flock.

But that sheep never forgets how the Shepherd cared for him when his mother rejected him. When the Shepherd calls for the flock, guess who runs to Him first?

That is right, the bummer sheep. He knows His voice intimately.
It is not that the bummer lamb is loved more, it just knows intimately the One who loves it and has experienced that love one on one.

So many of us are bummer lambs, rejected and broken. But He is the good Shepherd. He cares for our every need and holds us close to His heart so we can hear His heartbeat.

I am a bummer lamb adopted and loved by The Good Shepherd!! ❤ ❤ ❤ Hallelujah!!

On this most holy night, remember the true meaning of Christmas. Step outside in the darkness and listen to the still quiet of the night. For this night is different from any other. Tonight we remember that God loved us so much that He came to live among us. He was the Christ-child, Almighty God, the Everlasting father, the Prince of Peace, the Light of the world. Be joyful, for what we celebrate is God’s gift to us, the greatest gift of all. God...reaches out to us...In that manger 2000 years ago heaven touched the earth as God dwelt among us. May His light touch you tonight as we celebrate His birth once again.

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). SHALOM.

Today is Good Friday. Even Jesus, the son of God wondered aloud, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” meaning “my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? " Let us remember His suffering and death was for you and I. Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit." Gospel of Luke 23:46
Now we await that glorious day of resurrection on Easter Sunday. Lord, on this most holy day, please let your people grasp onto your message of love and bring peace to a world full of turmoil and suffering. AMEN..

Today is PALM SUNDAY, when we commemorate and praise the day Jesus entered Jerusalem as Savior and King. As Jesus rode a donkey into the town of Jerusalem a great crowd gathered and laid palm branches and their cloaks across the road, giving Jesus royal respect and honor. The people shouted "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"

the victory palm branch waving, and chanting clear and loud.
The Lord of earth and heaven rode on in lowly state,
nor scorned that little children should on his bidding wait.” 🎵
