Keys to the Kingdom will meet Monday, October 17 at Sharon's home - 7:00 pm. No meeting on Monday, October 31 - instead we have some options for you to attend Joel's Well as presented by our friends from Southern California - Barbara Parker and Persis Tiner. Attached is a flyer you can print and/or forward to friends who might be interested. We anticipate these meetings being exciting times to minister to our Lord Jesus and be ministered to by Him.
Barbara and Persis are here to model how to move into Joel's Well more deeply, releasing the power of God in our midst.
Joel 3:18 (NKJV)18 And it will come to pass in that day That the mountains shall drip with new wine, The hills shall flow with milk, And all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water; A fountain shall flow from the house of the LORD And water the Valley of Acacias.
Barbara and Persis also minister to individuals in scheduled appointments and ask only for $35 donation per hour for an appointment. Barbara and Persis have been trained in generational prayer ministry. They have had some experience in working with Immanuel which is a bit different technique where everything that is done is submitted to Jesus. This can lead to a closer relationship with Him knowing that He is with you always. It can lead to healing of memories or other hurts, traumas encountered in life. Recently I have heard Barbara and Persis give testimony to some healings the Lord has led them to in working with DID in a Courtroom setting. Results have been pretty exciting.
Immanuel Prayer:
The primary goal of Immanuel prayer is to see Jesus for who He really is. We learn to experience Him in the past and in the present. The other goal is to gain secure attachment with the Lord. Secure attachment is:
•When we look for Him we always find Him.
•When we find Him, He is always happy to see us.
•He always has the answer for our problems. We discover that He alone is the answer.
In the process, He reveals lies, brings His truth, and heals deep wounds. Immanuel prayer is not a counseling session. It is prayer time to meet with Jesus. He always leads. He always does the work. He always overcomes.
Schedule note: Friday evening our meeting will include a meal together. Please come and bring food to share. I would also greatly appreciate having an idea of how many to prepare for so if you would let us know that you intend to come this would be great.
Young people are welcome at these meetings. We cannot provide a place for young children to play or have things to do on their own. However, if your children would like to be involved in these times, being willing to sit in the meetings with you, looking for opportunity to participate, they are welcome. We have seen quite young ones be used by the Lord to prepare the way for the Lord to do amazing things.
